Availability opens up one state at a time. 6 states so far. So people are able to buy them now in 6 states. EDIT - the territory doubled to 14 states in late fall of 2022.

We want to be able to sell in more states (only in 7/50 as of now) as well as go international ASAP, and would if we could right now. Biggest barriers are regulations and that's especially difficult when dealing with international policies. Please stay tuned!

It is not a completed design but it will be regulated as an ebike, not a vehicle.

There's a good video on yt that shows driving around in rain. Especially when moving it is quite dry, you might want a light jacket is all

@Ed Waterfield Hundreds have been sold without doors and NOT as a 'novelty' you sour old coot. If mine had doors I would remove them. Most uses do not need doors and they are just dead weight. Period. The flatbed, the Deliverator, the self driving versions, the rentals. In all cases and with every rain event, we stay dryer in this than while on any motorcycle or scooter. And far safer - the better traction is even better in the rain compared to slippery rounded motorcycle tires.

@@popeyegordon If they are unaware of a better magnet because it is new to the market then yes, can you say with certainty that they know about iron nitride magnets?

@@Barskor1 They will be aware of all new developments before you. They will have eliminated or decided to eventually use them before you, based on the current info at the time they became aware of it. Plus, you have no idea if there is already a plan for their motor suppliers to use these newer magnets. The long term plan is to make motors at their plant or with a US partner. Arcimoto is not happy about having to import so many parts but they are always looking to insource and improve them.

@Ed Waterfield Stafl is working on contract for Arcimoto- the company owns the platform. As for rev splits, we always aim for the win/win.

@Ed Waterfield They can not unless your head has already broken clean off thanks to the harness. Drivers are holding the handlebars and the entire range of possible motion for our arms is 90% inside the crash cage. Feet are in a safe area on each side of the battery tunnel. While strapped in, a driver's range of hip motion will not allow legs to extend outside the cage. A roll-over has never happened while executing driving maneuvers but one did happen in a t-bone collision. He walked away from that with only bruises. So as usual your hateful sour dishonest implications have no justification for such negative commenting.

@Ed Waterfield How dense and dishonest! A collision with the FUV means arms on the side of the vehicle being hit will be shoved inward to the protection of the roll cage. Arms on the other side will be forcefully shoved back in the cage by the G-forces of the collision. *THAT'S A GODDAMN LIE* ABOUT HEAD POSITION!! The harness tightens up during a collision and will not allow the head or shoulders to be outside the roll cage! Certification for this vehicle included assuring that the head is protected, otherwise no state would be allowing helmet free operation. This time you went way to far, you are flagged for intentional malicious misinformation. Our pelvis and spine is vertical on the seat so we can not spread our legs far enough to get outside the safety cage. Before any part the human body has time to move outside the cage the colliding vehicle has already blocked that from happeneing by its physical presence up against the roll cage. You are a hateful liar who is not going to overrule the safety agencies who certified this as a safe vehicle. The first collision already proved you wrong by not letting any of those actions happen during a 35 mph t-bone collision. The driver walked away with only bruises and there isn't any lie you can make up to cancel that fact. His first hand testimony and photos are found on the Facebook FUV owners page. He immediatly ordered a replacement FUV!

All buinesses with stocks, 100% of them, do the exact same thing to avoid being sued by a stockholder who bought high and sold low. Elio never shipped, Arcimoto has shipped over 500 vehicles. Elio was taken to court, Arcimoto was not.
