The secondary clutch wont spin if the fourwheeler is in park with an automatic transmission. Youd need for it to be in neutral for it to spin. Very good video. Used it to replace a belt on a 2016 artic cat 500
great help ive changed a few belts before but wanted to make sure it was the same on an arctic cat ive only ever changed one on snowmobiles and a polaris sportsman but this is the same thing lol

I have a Can-Am outlander 500 2013. Where does the slip happen when the atv starts moving? Is it between the belt and the pulley or is there a separate cluch for engaging?
hello i have a 2011 artic cat 1000 ltd. and i am looking for performance clutches. i placed 30 in silverbacks on it but cant find the clutches to turn these tires. called artic cat they cant find any. so i pray you have a answer for me thank you.
Some are different the socket size for mine is 27 mm for both secondary and the primary do not add grease to the primary clutch just on the inside of the housing of the primary so it can slide across that slave good and easy and don't use brake cleaner on the Belt discus clean everything with PB Blaster let it soak then wash it with soap and water rinse thoroughly dry it dryly dry it real good and you will never have no slips if you use brake cleaner you can get it off of there but the surface will still be too slick use dry oil to wipe it clean wash it with soap and water dry real thoroughly
Good info in the vid, but putting your hand on a belt with the engine started is not a wise move. I use a quote at work fairly often at our toolbox meetings ; "DON'T put your FINGER where you wouldn't but your DICK" That usually brings out a laugh but gets the message across loud and clear. Plus, imagine the reaction from the lady in the office the first time she saw this while writing up the weekly reports for the safety minutes, once explained they got a chuckle also.
I ordered the ptomao clutch from a dealer ship on June 3rd and will not get it until 11/22 total cost from clutch,,$725 :00 -:rollats $64:00, clutch cover bolts $2;00 a pice , gasket$44:00 .all this is on order from SS artic cat dealership Mercer wis . this is redickless waiting, wonder if dealership tried to call someone else, or eve chick on shopping time , I don't think he is. Trying to help me at all
grabbing the belt when the engine is running is not the smartest thing to do.....instead of having the name badass03taco it could be nofingers03taco if keep pulling that stunt !!!
Don't think SS artic cat ATV dealer ship is trying to help primary clutch__$735.00 rollers at $74.00, gasket,_$44..00 I would if he shopped for a better price. Or is he going to stick it to me with one Ky Jell ?? I used to get kids before I got FUCKED.
