I always wondered what would happen if I could juice up Arctic P12 and get it spinning at like 3000 RPM. then Arctic released the P12 MAX.
So, I guess I won’t need to blow up 1 of my P12’s to see what would happen… cool.
What's up everyone, Erik here and welcome to hardware for gamers, for those of you who are new to the channel I review and test PC cases, CPU coolers, PC case fans, and graphics Cards. Yes, you are correct they do use a Dual Ball Bearing. Sorry for that.

@@HardwareForGamers Are dual BB really any noticeably louder than FDB?
@HardwareForGamers
@HardwareForGamers 3 месяца назад
@@Mack_Dingo A DBB are typically louder yes. if they are noticeably louder i'm not sure. i haven't tested a FDB fan and a DBB fan that have the same design... yet. I know the Arctic P12 PWM PST CO uses a DBB so I may look in to this.

The newer revison 2 indeed use FDB.

@@taufiqhidayatulloh8848I see that on the Arctic website, but my model the 1 I tested is a DBB (on the box). guess I need to test the FDB version now 😂

Bought 5 Fans of the P12 Max, when they were released after serveral great reviews from big youtubers and 3 of these fans are horrible at a lot of different rpms. I got horrible sounding ball bearings and so on, side by side it's crazy I have 2 good ones that I think really perform as they should but the other ones went into the trash. Never going to buy them again - horrible for the environment to produce e-waste like this but yeah the good price comes from the lack of QC from my expericence. Maybe they improved a little but not gonna try them again I rather pay the premium now of other brands.

Sorry to hear that. Did you try to contact Arctic to see if they would exchange them?

14DBa for a 2c temp improvement. 8v I would stick too for most cases

When I saw the thumbnail I was for a second very confused by the box. My brain was like "Did those mfers at Sony make the PSFan????". Graphic design these days is lazier than ever. Great video though. Greetings from Brazil
