Are Fully Pimped HDZero Goggles Worth $867? -  

From the HDZero goggles description as there was discussion about whether the analog deinterlacer was real time. “Improved analog video resolution with real-time deinterlacer”

The nano 90 cam gets you 90 FPS, 540p, and even lower latency than analog. It's smoother, sharper, and better latency. That plus all the googles features you mentioned and the ability to run a Walksnail VRX with almost as good of latency as the native Avatar HD gogs, makes them extremely versatile. I can't say it justifies the price, but they are great. I fly analog on my micros, Walksnail on an 85mm and anything else I want good video from but can't carry a GoPro on, and HDZERO on my big freestyles and Crux35... all with one pair of gogs. If you don't mind spending the money, they're a very legit rig.

The think I really like on the Hdzero goggles is the video playback is the best I've seen... when I loose a drone I can scrub through the video using the jog wheel so easy to find my drone. And since a drone crash often means a drone with a battery still hooked up, the speed of finding the drone is important.

Yes it worth for me, but absolutely not always should be worth for anybody else. I'm not fpv racer also not fpv video maker, just an fpv hobbyist. yes I do fpv race (tinyWhoop only), yes I do make fpv video, yes I do fpv freestyle and I do it for the hobby. HDZ goggles + Walksnail VRX + Analog VRX

I absolutely love my Hdzeros and although I don't fly a lot of analog I do have a lot of quads with analog system's as its too much to covert all my quads over to Hdzero, as well I am so happy that I kept around a pair of my HDO's because the Hdzero analog system is absolute sh*t.

Weight is also my biggest hold out

1:14:52 that is my current set-up now. it's really convenient to have 3 system on the go with HDzero Goggles, Walksnail VRX and Analog Module. but it is darn heavy like around 600grams without the battery haha

I love hdzero, it has its place, but it isn't in my consideration for top digital places due to MAD costs

I regularly port analogue to HDMI via a rapidfire in a Furious FPV dock king with their HDMI module. I get really good results 👍🏻

New fatshark hdo2.1 has the same price as the HDZero goggles here in Norway

It’s not more expensive than HDO2 or orqa. You have to put rapid fire and antenna too and in this case you have HDzero inside for free compared to the others. What about new vtx eco ?

My understanding was also that 48kHz gave less power and more flight time than 24kHz. Also, at 96kHz, I see lots of people have trouble with one or more motors not spooling up when arming.

simple answer no. 800 for a single piece in a hobby is insane.

Why don't you just use a cheap standalone analog receiver like you do to show us your feed on the livestream, at the RC drift place on their big screen? Then you don't have to worry with a HDMI cable on your face.

Tbh. thanks for discouraging me from buying these. I won't use HDZero and want only analog goggles to second my WS goggles. I went with Skyzones for half the price.
