I have a crush on an entp 3w2 387 sx/so... he's too charming for his own good, it's scary, he's quite literally every villain in every book ever, especially similar to voldemort, and i am terrified to see what becomes of him later in life
“My therapist says it’s not healthy” 😂 me every week. I realized this week that I am a 3w4 and… so true. I work for Animation, illustrate, write my own stories. (And that takes work time and love)
I used to think I was a 3w4 but now I think I’m a 3w2. I did a full face of makeup every day of quarantine even though I knew I wouldn’t see anyone, just because I felt like I had to. Like I needed to be perfect to be loved. That’s pretty 3w2, right?
One of my best friends is a 3w2 and I’m a 3w4. We were literally just talking about your channel and how we couldn’t wait for the 3 wing video and look what happened!🙈 Perfect timing and a great video!
3w4 in the house! Thank you for educating the world about us! 🤗 Loved your scriptwriting and delivery too, at the start you said something along the lines of "you must have clicked this because you want to know what your wing is", I felt like you were really speaking to me personally, and I answered "I already know I'm a 3w4; I'm just here to be entertained 🙃"
Yes....I'm definitely 3w2.... this is almost embarrassing. My boss has accused me of looking different in every zoom call of the day because I change up lipstick/hair/jewelry regularly
I sort of just thought I was a 3w2 because serving others is so important to me, but this video really makes me believe that I'm a 3w4 because your line about wanting to be authentic is so ridiculously me that it's scary. Also, I do the phone thing.
We really appreciate all the hard work you put into this channel, and we thank you from the bottom of our heart for making such great content available to us, and for presenting it in such a fun, entertaining way. Keep going sis!
I’m a 4w3 and I completely relate to that push pull between the 3 and the 4. They always felt at odds with each other, and since I’m an sx/so 4w3, I osculated more between being in “3 mode” and “4 mode” on my channel, making it way more difficult than it needed to be lol
As a 3, I will always click on a 3 video. Also 8s and 7s bc I like them. And not really concerned with 9s and 6s. The wings didn't shake out the way I thought they would, I'm for sure more 4, which I'm good with!
I love your approach on all these enneagram numbers!! Your videos are so funny and we all learn a lot about ourselves!! Keep up the amazing work Abbey!!
What a supportive, sweet comment 😭 These are my husband's fave video because he likes seeing the different wing pairings in action. Thank you for being here!
So funny story. I thought I was 4w3 Sp/So since I really resonated with the 4. I never felt I used the 5 wing and just stayed on the 3 wing. Then I had a kid and my terrible work-life balance was exposed front and center and now it’s clear 3w4 is a better fit. I am highly career driven but also known to be empathic which must be when I dip into the 2 wing. This typing makes sense since I first typed as a 2w3! I was always somewhere in the heart triad!
Your videos have really helped me figure myself out. I'm a solid 3w4. Your example of 3w2 I was like "Huh... kind of me." then your examples of 3w4 "UGH! NO! WHAT?? NO! ... crap that's me" and the "I feel like my worth is directly tied to how productive I can be throughout the day" AND ALSO I KNOW.... It is unhealthy but it IS the way I am! It's how I'm wired. I get satisfaction out of crushing it everyday, meeting my goals, and even doing better if not more than anyone else around me... but usually in a leadership and "FOLLOW ME!" kind of way. Failure is also not an option. I literally short circuit when I fail. There are fails that are good learning experiences and I bounce back and then there's the crushing blows of going all out 110%, sacrificing a lot of time preparing for whatever it is, and it still not being good enough to succeed or obtain my goal. I struggled with real bad anxiety attacks for about 2 years following one my greatest failures. It took me a while to figure out how to deal with failure, but now I just can identify why I feel the way I feel and help overcome it but it's never easy. Keep up the good work on these videos Abbey! You're awesome!
Abbey I played and replayed this video. As a 3w4 and a self employed (not pro) business/RU-vid person it was so nice to hear you talk about your personal experience in this arena. Thank you!!! And I had to show my husband your rendition of the 3w4 because it was so spot on 💕
The writing in this one was so up there that I kept replaying a lot of the gags throughout and the acting is great too, so much effort in this video it’s bananas Thank you Abbey! 🙏🏼 (from a fellow 3w4)
I am a 3w4 as well and found this very helpful!! Hadn’t really thought about the conflict between the two types in that way, but it’s so true!! I’m an aspiring musician and definitely experience that struggle between producing content effectively and consistently (for results! Goals goals goals!) and my four wing demanding authenticity!! Thanks for the insight! :)
Hi Abbey, thank you for your videos. It's interesting to me that you are a 3w4, because when I first looked up enneagram videos on RU-vid, yours was the first I clicked. I have been studying MBTI types (AKA 4-letter types) and though there is sadly a lot of stereotypes (it sounds like it is similar to enneagrams in that regard) and different interpretations, I am confident that I am an ISFP. It seems 3 is not a very common type for the ISFP, at least according to the statistics I saw. I was very honest and blunt about my answers when I took the test yesterday, and I got type 3. I still have a lot to learn, and probably wouldn't hurt to retake the test a few times, but this result did give me a sort of moment of epiphany. I suddenly became aware of the possibility that the root of my motivations could be different from other ISFPs, (let alone other people in general,) and that my motivations are related to the success I have in my public image. I realized that although I am an introverted feeler (Fi-dom) that my motivating factors were related to a group harmony--one in which I shine to my fullest and unique potential in the areas of application of my interests. When I was much younger I tried to impress my brother's girl friend while he was on the phone with her and so I took my beginner's electric piano and set one of the pre-recorded songs to play, and I told her I was playing it. I would not fake my talent in such an egregious way today, but even as a matter of principle I have learned over the years that I had to work on my humility. Other memorable moments of my life are when my (a different) brother took piano lessons, and I was so jealous and I begged my mother to allow me to take lessons. I had had several musical accomplishments since then, in school and eventually branching out to community events. Even still, at a high-school function, I had a negative brush with another instrument player who came over and decided that they could play the piano very well and in a style I was there to excel at. I said something under my breath so loudly that he heard it because I know that he walked away later with his buddy, both wondering what was up with me. I wonder how many music students are a type 3. Some of them would give 3's a bad name as there can be aggressive competition. Like a bloodsport. But maybe that's not related as much to enneagram types. Now I don't play or practice as much, which is probably a good thing. But I realized the unhealthy parts of me that were inhibiting my progress in my ability. I work in a job that I can still work hard and have a set of work laid out that I am expected to complete thoroughly. Even though I don't have the stereotypical competitive appearance of work ethic or agility that a more masculine MBTI type like an ESTP might have, I am driven by my ability to succeed, and I enjoy having a job where I can give a measured effort of my performance (to 100% of course). Even though I am a particular MBTI type who usually wants to do something a little more in the creative and artistic, or something like the human or animal fields. Anyway, I would be happy to know your thoughts on my interpretation of my test results. Thanks again.
interesting that you say that each core number has a wing that conflicts with it. I didn't know it was an official thing! let me try to make a list 1-9 2-1 3-4 4-3 5-4 6-5 7-6 8-9 Not sure, did this on instinct😊
Oh my gosh Abbey! Hi! I'm not sure if you remember me (Jessica Rahman's little sister) :) I was just looking up enneagram videos on RU-vid, and here I find you! This is so cool! Love that you are doing this work now. I have found enneagrams to be such a useful tool!
I thinking I swing between both wings from time to time, depending on how I want to look like to others. I often keep a balance between both personalities, I will have this cool social mask on, and on the inside be calculating everything that I have to be doing
Wow super helpful I'm a 3W4 through and through and boy can it be torture sometimes! I'd love to know tips and tricks on how to calm the battle between the three and the four inside of me. I go to therapy and I have a great therapist! A lot of the work we do seems to be around not fighting my authenticity.
Sorry for a straight forward question of will Smith, what happened? How do you see it as a professional to professional ... how can a 3 with 4 wing react like that.. the model and the all look best guy, will...
If Anthony Bridgerton is a Type 3, he's definitely a 3w2 because he wants to maintain this image of being the Viscount and he is super-competitive. And when he's at his best, he encourages his family. (At his worst, his encouragement is bossy af). You definitely feel like a 3w4 for sure because you're hardworking and driven. As a Type 4, I tip my hat to you!
Finally!! I’ve been waiting a lifetime for this one 😜 Thanks so much for making it! I’m always trying to decide which wing I am, and I’m the exact same as you-3w4 when I’m healthy (internally) & 3w2 when I’m unhealthy (more externally). I love how you said your 4 is always going against your 3 because SAME!! It’s so frustrating 😅
I feel like 3w2s are always stereotyped as the popular ones and climbing the social ladder, which is true, but can you be unpopular and a 3w2? Also I love your channel and you’re hilarious!
that's a good question. do you know someone like that? I'de think that maybe, if they come from a very bad background, family, money wise etc. Or if the rest of their family or class is 3's and they are personally lacking in basic 3 elements such as looks, brains, compared to the people around them. But chances are that in any enviornment they are going to be one of the only 3's so they'de probably be popular.
@@randomfornow I was actually talking about myself! I certainly wish I were popular and I’m not friendless or anything, but I’m not at the top of the social ladder either. I’m more work-focused like a 3w4…except I’m highly social and relationship-oriented and can find tons of examples of me doing 2 things and not a lot of 4. Sorry that was long!
@@phoebep4688 oooh you sound exactly like my 3w4 friend! She's that delicate princess kind, (ISFP) and very studious, we used to study together very well (i'm an INFJ 4w5w3). But what's interesting is, is that she was always confused about her 2 wing because she loves doing favors for people, like doing their hair, and giving rides, and cooking for people, but that's sort of an add on to her strong 3w4 persona. As a whole, and socially, she doesn't look like a 3w2 because it comes after her strong 4 wing. I can see that kind of 3 being close to the top, and having friends and real relationships, but not being the "loudest" or constantly enthusiastic like a 3 with a 2 wing that is bigger than their 4. 😭Sorry sorry that was even longer, i hope you don't mind🤨🤔😏
@@randomfornow I don’t mind at all! Your friend actually reminds me of a friend of mine! I think it’s interesting because compared to that description I’m more of a 3w2…I’m highly enthusiastic and outgoing and like “Oh my gosh hi guys!” that sort of person (I’m an ENFJ.) What makes me question my type is that social stuff and being popular wasn’t ever easy for me while I was growing up. Do you know what your instinctual variant is? Just curious.
@@phoebep4688 🙂ah that makes sense. Well, I don't want to over assume things, but my sister is an ENFJ. She is loud, leaderlike, energetic so no social problems in that realm. But she has maybe an overneed for socialization, an Fe thing, that gives her some social anxiety and makes her vulnerable to other kids, some of whom have dropped her and stuff. She is a 7 though. It's so interesting to hear about a 3w2 with this...i'de be curious to know what particular social stuff you mean. I'm the social variant, or whatever its called, So/Sp something🤔
I clicked this because I was trying to see if I could guess this guy's type. He has this math and science website. I'm wondering what you would think. I know he must be an istj. But I'm thinking a 3 w....
