I remember when I first heard this song it was on the movie " Sprung " and I've been in love with it every sense... Every time I hear it I fall in love with it all over again!!!! Aretha Franklin you will be missed thank goodness we have your music to fall back on...

I truly fell in love with this song when I was 15. I had this song and the one that my forever was to be shared with. 4 days after I turned 16 he was killed by his moms bf. He had said his mom was NEVER to be hit again. He confronted the man and the coward shot him. That was 46 years ago and I've NEVER REALLY gotten past it. Life went on. I have 4 kids, 2 grands. But GOD KNOWS my heart cries silently. I love my kids/family to my last breath but sometimes. I just feel so sad. I've never forgotten.

Aretha makes songs all her own. When she is done with it, you forget the original.

When I hear this song I think about loving on God Almighty. I think about dancing with God turning and swinging my arms. Glorified God because I am in true love. Oh! I am 💞💞💞

The original is cool. This a smooth ass song man. When she hit them notes near the end it damn near brings tears to my eyes. Detroit's finest. Northend baby.

If anyone remembers Napster lol...that's how i discovered all of Arethas classic stuff from the 70s. I would leave the dial up on while I was at work, and even if it was interrupted, i would start again. I wanted to know as much about her and her huge catalog of songs as i could. Great memories.
