Great video! Great new model. Adding cav + mounted combat hero conpletely changes this army. I could see GW "getting away" with just doing this and not presenting any further new profiles for Arnor. Although, of course, id love to see an additional troop type and e.g. ranger hero.

I would really hate him being a Hero of Valour, I'm already baffled by them making a mounted original character captain instead of Aranarth as an Eomer style hero for Arnor. This guy really throws off most of my ideas for what the Legions for the book could reasonably be.

100% agree he shouldn't have march, if I had to guess id say strike and strength. Hoping for 2 2 2 MWF, seems a bit silly to have someone meant to fight angmar have 1 will.

I'd guess he will be 80pts on the horse, with C4 M2 W2 F1 and have Defense (really not sure about March, it makes sense but then it feels like why would you take a Captain until high points). I think he will be Fortitude, similar to Deowine. For the Cloak thing, I think it will be an Angmar Spirit Hero that was an Arnor Captain of some sort, stabbed by a Morgul Blade and has become a ringwraith type creature. It will be a fighter Spirit Hero rather than a Caster Hero giving Angmar some more variety in playstyle choices. The banner is the cloak he uses to hide his wraith form, so the cloak is not WHAT it's literally WHO as the cloak is effectively the Hero.

I think you've got too into how much might he has. Slapping 3m and strike? That's just zero design skill. He's a veteran against Angmar, and Angmar likes magic, so how about a 2/2/2 statline, and give him heroic resolve....that he can use and move.

Dude has got to be at least 70 points. That’s a beefy stat line to be only 65. I’m assuming 3/1/1 with strike
