I have to say, as much as a joke as the yotes are right now and as much as I've rooted for them to move, this whole area looks incredible and I would not at all be against them staying in AZ if this is approved

@@psychopathyoutubeemployees280 the arena is privately funded. the only taxpayer money used is to clean up the landfill that currently occupies the site. Keep in mind that no matter what project gets approved on that site taxpayers will be paying to clean the area up

How can you hate on this. Hockey at ASU is also gaining tons of popularity. Arizona is still a great place for hockey, and people will start to realize that in 6-8 years, unfortunate that it’ll take that long

Hope for them it gets the approval. So many teams have had this not go through for trying to get a new Stadium or new change scenery. New start for them would go along ways. Not a fan but you guys need something.

I'm sorry, but the Coyotes have downtown PHX; Glendale (not matter how toxic) and now a 5K seat practice facility?... on a college campus during the school year. Coyotes need to leave for Tucson is they wanna stay AZ so bad. How many chances are you gonna give them?

It’s much closer to all the hockey fans. The west side doesn’t have very many hockey fans, and it was pretty far for most people to drive.

None. Also, they're on a college campus, so I doubt the distribution of alcoholic beverages are gonna give them immunity.

Tempe is where most of their fan base is. Attendance won't be as much of an issue as it was in Glendale

@@redpillfreedom6692 Tempe and. Glendale is in the same metropolitan area. 3+ million in the middle of the desert... the only other "city" in AZ is Tucson. Guess what?... Scottsdale & Mesa residents are gonna have just as much a hard time to reach Tempe as they do getting to NW PHX. This whole thing is joke if they don't have stable ownership

Actually hockey is pretty popular here, obviously no where near the fan base as Chicago, Boston. If coyotes put a winning team on the ice, I guarantee you the arena sells out. A few years ago when Coyotes were having a solid season, most weekend games were sold out and that’s with an arena in Glendale. With the arena here, sales will skyrocket.

Yotes fan but all the years here in the desert and all we've had to deal with this organization has been such a joke. How is a new arena going to change anything. Was glad Glendale kicked them out, should've moved the team to Houston or Canada. Will not be driving the extra distance

This is absolutely BS. Tired of other teams paying for them to stay in Arizona. This organization needs to be relocated. Can't even fill 10,000 fans. Waste of money, waste of hockey, and wasting time with other potential hockey markets. Hockey doesn't work there and it never will. Shameful. The future should be relocation.
