Yeah, I think Kamala pretty much has to be presidential candidate because she can inherit the existing campaign funds while none of the others can, but I think Kelly as VP is an ideal choice for the reasons you mentioned as well as coming from the swing state of Arizona.
So would I. He'd be a fine president and would heal a lot of our national division. Nonetheless, this lifelong Republican will vote for Harris if he's the vp choice. And I think a fair number of Haley Republicans like myself would do the same.

Thing is, Trump has at least 16 corporate entities in China and doesn't disclose what they do or how much money flows through them. So he could've (and probably has) recieved somewhere north of 500M.

Because we are a global economy this investment firm has also worked with China based companies. Deceitful news outlets spun the story to make people believe Trump was working directly with China.
Shoring up support from a swing state would be useful. I would be careful going with someone from Congress because we need the votes there as well. How about a Governor?
HARRIS - KELLY just rolls off the tongue. He's Military + NASA. Easily gets her swing states of AZ & NV. And he's from a border state & can speak to that help her on immigration. He's the one.
My case for Mark Kelley is essentially that he can get the military on-side. Please don't underestimate what November is going to look like. Frankly, a fighter pilot and astronaut, who is a centrist, may be the only way we survive. It takes a hero to defeat a villain.

Kelly should be the nominee for PRESIDENT. He'd crush Trump. Kelly is literally above reproach. A former Navy test pilot, astronaut who's highly intelligent, charismatic, the sympathetic and loyal husband of Gabby Gifford and the one major Dem who can be fairly described as a political centrist. Even as a VP candidate he'll give Kamala a major boost, ( though most voters will wish he was at the top of the ticket ). He will definitely win Az for Harris and probably a few other states too.

A Navy pilot, an astronaut with 4 missions (one of them for a year), a senator from Arizona with an outstanding record and married to previous senator Gabby Gifford who survived an assassins bullet herself. You didn't do your own research. Kelly has no ties to China. 8 years ago Tencent made a small investment in a company he co founded to explore space tourism. Tencent has no access or involvement anymore to that company which is now a defense tech outfit. I would enjoy a person of mixed background than a white person. I've had white people tell me what's is right and what is wrong according to their views all my life. Guys... Mark Kelly is a rogue, he is to intelligent and has no ties to any lobbies or agendas. He will never go along with the program installed and has scruples to guide his decisions, that's why he won't be a good candidate. It's going to be a slow process... Keep Kelly here. Next time, all in.
