On June 4, 2024 at 2326 hours, I responded to 4401 Camp Robinson Rd. (Kroger) in reference to a vehicle doing burnouts in the parking lot. I activated my emergency blue lights to stop the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle (identified as Shakalin Booth) continued driving at a high rate of speed through the parking lot. Booth continued to do burnouts though out the parking lot almost striking patrol units. Booth then exited to parking onto Camp Robinson Rd. going south bound where speeds reached 84mph. Once on Camp Robinson, Officer Kulesa was the first car and Officer Reddit was the second car and I requested to be third. Booth then made it to 33rd and Pike Avenue and then took the on ramp to I-40 East bound. Once on I-40 E we reached speeds of 113mph and continued on to I-30 W. where we reached speeds of 122 mph entering into Little Rock. Arkansas State Police joined the pursuit.
Trooper Blayn Lucas conducted a tactical vehicle intervention (see his report 2024-10420 ASP) at I-30 W. mile maker 137. A felony take down was conducted Booth exited the vehicle and followed my commands and was taken into custody. Booth had no visible injuries from this incident. Booth was transported to Spring Hill Baptist for medical evaluation. Once cleared by hospital staff Booth refused to leave the hospital. Booth stated that she was not leaving until another officer was present. Booth refused to walk under her own power to leave the hospital. Booth continued to pull away from me and yell “Im not leaving with you I don’t feel safe”. I was able to pull Booth to the hospital exit doors where she continued to use her body weight to not leave the hospital. I was then able to take Booth to the ground and wait for other units to arrive to assist me in getting her into my patrol unit. Booth was then transported to PCDRF without further incident for the listed charges. My MVR (Body Mic) was activated in unit 15-313.
