A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting that killed a Temple University police officer in the line of duty near the school's campus Saturday night, sources tell FOX 29.

Wait so they found in 24 hours but can solve no other crimes? This is why it’s hard to have sympathy for the cops. Because no way we have so many murders and crime happening daily. And they don’t put any work in to solve them.

So, how many of those other murders are captured on body cams? In those others, did the victim radio in a vehicle description and plate number? Was everything captured on in car video? When an officer is murdered, some, most, or all of the above IS the case, making it a lot easier to identify the culprit. It has zero to do with it being an officer.

A tragedy any way you look at it; It's where petty crime and America's Gun violence, impoverished populations, and rhetoric against "socialism" programs that provide food security, health, home, and transportation all intersect. The tragedy being that Bucks County is a well to do County; that someone would be so desperate to rob a convenience store is saddening; that this officer fatally lost his life over material so trivial is heartbreaking... And Yes... The idea that the swift justice for this scenario given the lack of urgency for many other citizens can be alarming. Once again... This is a tragedy all around... Condolences and healing to the family; True transparency for the justice system; and fair evaluation of "innocent until proven..." for the suspect.
