Hate to say it dude I think it’s time for a new location! That road is taking allot out of the potential. Those grooves in on the surface are god awful! And the curve is certainly not very desirable! Love your vids and style dude keep it up!
Pretty nice. You need a better road for sure. Even the second one with the bridge bump isn’t good. I hit 88mph on mine with the speed gear. But on a Spektrum v2 esc and motor. Threw something else into it. Hoping to run it soon when this heat goes away!
@@RCKnockout I just recently moved to a new city and it’s very hard to try to find a road that isn’t always busy. I have plenty of straight level roads but they’re super busy all the time. I’ve stepped my infraction up a bit with a castle system, moderately geared and it gets so freaking hot. About to get rid of it, I dislike castle so much. -_-
@@KamikRC yeah it’s difficult to find a straight and flat road that doesn’t have much traffic That’s a bummer…I’ve had good and bad luck with Castle Esc’s…their motors seem pretty good though
@@RCKnockout the castle motor combo I have gets super hot. 30t pinion/40t spur, I have 2 server fans (fans run off a separate 4s lipo) and the motor temps are ridiculously hot still! It’ll do one run and the motor temp says 200+ degrees with my temp gun. But my TP motors run 170 degrees all day. So idk, maybe a lemon again lol 😂
Mate, before you attempt any speed runs, you have to warm up the tyres a lot. Looking at the snow laying about in your video, I’d say the road surface would pretty cold, so you’re at a disadvantage already. Also, run two 3S with 100C or higher discharge rate, for better balance. Oh, and get a better transmitter that will allow you more tuning capabilities. Another bloke mentioned a DX5; I use a DX5R and the best thing is it lets me increase the throttle to 150%! And it’s compatible with Infraction V2’s existing receiver 😉
@@jackengel4657 I already have a dx4c. Do you think that would have better range? I really haven’t had any range issues with the stock controller though
@@jackengel4657 I’ve never felt like any the Spektrum radios I’ve had have that great of range. Usually if I want good range I go with Futaba radio systems
Hey Nolan I'm here after your last stock run and my comment so my new question is do you remember what the size the high speed gear is? I got mine mixed up with my mojave gear so I'm not sure which Is which lol. Thanks bud! Also you should turn avc on like 20-30% for your high speed runs to avoid spin outs.
@@RCKnockout Ah ha! Yeah that confirmed it for me as I have a 25t. Maybe a happy medium would be like a 20-22 in it. I'm not sure what stock gear is at the moment. I'm thinking it's around 18t maybe? But great channel bud and I'll stay tuned in!
I’ve got 2, fun cars. I think the felony tracks straighter. But it’s as great speed car! You didn’t ease on the throttle! Oh no!!!! I raised it a little to stop it from dragging. You need a new gps I think. I tested mine in my car. That way you can see if it’s accurate.
I always drive one handed. I have a head strap but I can’t mount my phone on it. I typically am filming with my phone. I do have a controller mount but it’s for my Traxxas controllers
