Very interesting! I have a future oral argument hearing coming up and i was so "set on" presenting my entire case in one breath and that is it! But this video allowed me to be more "chillax" now then tense. I have been studying and researching very hard snd and diligently, now i feel that those are all great since it will prepare me BUT what i want to take away from this is that i should be in the present, and flexible to what may be thrown my way, because truly i feel that if i am telling the truth and nothing but the truth...then i wont feel attacked but instead i will feel like the professional of my case in which everyone else is really just an outsider looking inn! Thanks again, i do wish they could have elaborated more on examples and Appellant / Appellee Pro-Se!

I'm preparing for mine as well this Friday. Nervous as hell too, but everything I'm doing is fact and truth my advesaries, on the other hand, are bunch of liars and can't even present their evidence, and im the nervous one like why

Let's see if this justice has any insight? I have questions written down. My questions may change. Questions about the brief, if briefs aren't sufficient. The court wants to sharpen their thoughts. The litigants want to win. We want to be fair. Our opinion may be used elsewhere so we can address the hypothetical in future cases. Trial judges are sometimes surprised. I may interject a question in the way I think is important. Holy crap this is some deep deep deep content, for the deep deep deep issue of the practice of law.

I heard absolutely NOTHING about them following their Oaths of Office!! I would hope that’s priority #1 for them!

i think all this is so intimidating to the average person ..judging should only be for extreme cases ,,courts should never try ti replace the all mighty or your gonna burn in hell for all eternity or got to a similar process ,, woe to you,,etc,,

There should be only written arguments. Court reporters are so expensive. There are non native English speakers. They must have equal justice. No confusing in the written argument.

I'm sure this black woman received an appointment to the VA supreme court based 100% on her merit and not because of her race
