The clean singer in this is Clint Norris. He left the band in 2006 and since 2007, current clean vocal and bassist is Josh Gilbert :). If you want to check out more AILD, their album "An Ocean Between Us" is perfection back and front ! It's also the first album with Josh Gilbert on vocals, the one you're reffering to !

You gotta check out Nothing Left, Confined, and Darkest Nights. Drums and vocals are amazing on all 3. My personal favorites from this band. Plus if you dive into their history, this band has been through so much shit, but they came through the fire even stronger than before

This song has so much nostalgia. This was one of my absolute favorite songs in high school! It maybe 240p here, but let me tell you live this song hits HARD! I like that you mention the drums in an earlier portion because, as great as the band is as a whole, Jordan has always been one of, if not the main reason i love this band. Drums can make such a bigger difference than people realize in a song even though they dont push the melody. As I Lay Dying uses clean vocals in their newer stuff much more heavily than their old stuff so if you want more clean vocals i would check out some of their more recent stuff like The Sound of Truth and even stuff off their album they released last year. Their older stuff doesnt have as much, if any, cleans at all. You should also check out Bury The Rose by Johnny Booth!

Tim has one of the best voices in metalcore, hands down. Just listen to Gatekeeper from the new album Shaped By Fire. That song is SO sick.

Go back even earlier and check out 94 Hours or Forever. Both are great songs!

Up to this day still one of my favorite AILD songs! you should also checkout "Austrian Death Machine," it is/was the 2nd band of Tim, I bet you will like them as well. They are doing songs based around Arnold Schwartzenegger and his movies. Funny but heavy. Much love, keep up the good work. :)
