In this video you'll discover the nootropic benefits of Ashwagandha. Including why we use Ashwagandha as a nootropic, how it's possibly one of the most potent anti-anxiety nootropics available, recommended dosage, side effects, clinical research and the best type of Ashwagandha to buy.
Ashwagandha has been shown to repair and reverse damage to the brain caused by chronic anxiety and stress.
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is one of the most powerful herbs in Ayurvedic healing. One of the main benefits of Ashwagandha is its remarkable stress-relieving properties. And stands shoulder to shoulder with some of the most potent drugs used to treat depression and anxiety.
Ashwagandha undoes damage to the brain caused by chronic stress. And helps keep it healthy.
Ashwagandha benefits cognitive function. Glycowithanolides, one of the many compounds found in Ashwagandha, reduces cortisol. And overall energy levels are enhanced through optimizing mitochondrial function.
Ashwagandha also has GABA-mimicking effects in the brain. Comparable to the effects of prescription benzodiazepines like lorazepam
Of the 8 or 9 most cherished herbal remedies, Ashwagandha is the highest or most prominent of Ayurvedic Rasayana herbs. Acting as an adaptogen, rejuvenating the nervous system, and boosting the body’s resilience to stress.
Ashwagandha even provides protection and regeneration of neurons during opiate and heroin withdrawal. And eases withdrawal symptoms.
This in-depth Ashwagandha review covers:

Thank you for this updated video. Like some other people have said, your video on ashwagandha was really helpful when I started taking it and I’ve been subscribed since. I usually take as a pill or gummy once or twice a day to help with my mood but right now I’m about a week into taking a break from any. This might be strange but is it common to experience heightened effects while taking a break from nootropics? I was expecting to have a difficult time but I’ve felt very positive and productive the past few days, and it’s enough to make me suspect it’s related to withdrawing. I will have to see how things are when I start taking again probably on February 1st.

Pedro. there have been zero reports over the last few thousand years of anyone becoming tolerant to or needing to detox from Ashwagandha. But never say never. Right? I suppose there is always a chance someone on this planet could encounter that possibility.

What are your thoughts on Sensoril Ashwaganda? I’ve read that it has a more calming effect and KSM-66 is more energetic, but don’t know if that’s true.
@NootropicsExpert
@NootropicsExpert 11 месяцев назад
Codi, Sensoril is higher in Glycowithanolides which provides a calming effect. And KSM-66 is full spectrum which apparently is a more energizing effect. Likely because Ashwagandha has been shown to increase testosterone levels. I think the best thing is test each one for a couple of weeks and see which one works best for you.

Very informative as always David, i take ashwagandha as well as St john wort and becopa. I find this combo greatly increases my ability to handle stress and reduces social anxiety and brain fog. I have found it may make me more irritable than i usually would be, im not sure if this is a side effect. Overall ashwagandha has worked wonders on my quality of life.
@NootropicsExpert
@NootropicsExpert Год назад
Matt, the only way to figure out what causes the irritability is use one supplement for a couple of days. If nothing then add the next one. If nothing then add the 3rd. You should not have to deal with anything negative. Because if one supplement causes a problem there is usually something else that may provide the benefits you are looking for without the negative. Just keep on experimenting until you find it.
