Despite SuperSport management not having a final outcome of the fallout between rugby analyst and former Springbok player, Ashwin Willemse and his colleagues Naas Botha and Nick Mallet, they have stated that what happened was not racially motivated. However when Willemse walked off the SuperSport set it sparked serious comment on social media.
Tweets and conversation on several platforms by the public, have commented on experiencing the same sentiments as that of Willemse of being patronised, insulted and exposed to racism in the workplace.
