Considering the price difference, it would be cooler if they gave us a collector's pack instead of a sample pack for the Collector's Version of the decks.

I really thought the whole deck was borderless. I can't believe they charged for basic forms with special foils at this price.

From the video, especially for the 2 commanders for the collector version, the foils look like they have a concave diamond pattern. The shape of the colorless mana symbol.

Got the Simic basic edition. No way I’m paying 100 extra dollars just on foils. The implication was that the deck was gonna be full art.

Glad I didn't order the foil one. I genuinely thought it would've been full art foils

I opened a Warhammer collector deck and the surge foil deck was thicker than the regular Warhammer decks too.

You missed out on the Commander’s backstory in the paper sheets. Thats one of the BEST parts of any unboxing video. 😩

Not worth it in my opinion. They could have at least put a full collector pack to make up for the difference.

The collectors edition is a thicker stack because all foil cards are slightly thicker and of course there are many more foils in the collectors edition. Its the reason i dont buy many foils for my decks because if i have too many in there, they wont fit in the deck box well.

Thanks for the video! I actually feel reassured on my pre-order, the foil looks fantastic and surely looks even better IRL and I was a little on the fence of the Profile design for the commanders but I'm happy the Collector's Display Commander card still shows the regular artwork

I have to agree with everyone here. Like they didnt even do a special Sol Ring or other staples? Wtf is even the point of the "Collector Deck"? This shit is going to nose dive in price soon. No one will want this nonsense. Most people hate the profile artwork, and this is just facier Halo Foiling from MoM

I was told the ripple foils are in the mana symbols, so this guy is a diamond for colorless. Have you opened other collector boosters to check?

I'm glad the foil cards are not extended art. I don't like those at all, though full art basics would not have hurt.

Well thank you for this. I like the Ripple Foil, but not that much. I had got the Collector’s Edition preordered (at £125) but seeing as none of the new cards are extended art I’m going to cancel. WotC said in their marketing that all new cards would be extended in the Collector’s Editions. An extra £67 over the regular edition (I managed to preorder it at £58), just to give the 98 a ripple foil treatment and nothing else is super underwhelming AND false advertising on their behalf.

Thickness is varied by finish type. That is all there. IMO. My guess.

I preordered the collector's deck set for 385 Euros. I'm glad I did - really like the new foiling and the 4 decks. I'm really confused about the new cards not being extended art, though. I remember that they said in the official WotC debut stream that the lands would not be full-art, but that the new cards in the collector's decks would be in extended art ripple foil...

i was expecting way more from this deck, not worth the ammount it is at the moment for me at least.

i own the previous eldrazi precon wish came with 15 wastes while this one only has 1 XD

I think the fact the lands aren’t full art in the collectors edition at least, is a huge disappointment. What’s worse is there’s only two cards different? It’s such a waste of money I’m glad I got the regular when it was still at the cheapest price

I am glad I didnt buy collectors edition. I thought that every card will have new priting like Ulalek comander ((the profile one)), and all will have this borderless and so-on treatments. And it's just new type of foiling for double the price.

Wow… $500 for just one deck? I somehow got the full set for only $600. Rip to anyone who paid $500 for just this Eldrazi deck. I’m one of the few who appreciate that it’s not all borderless however. That was a good call. I like my magic cards to look like magic cards.

Glad I just bought the ixalan merfolk 🧜 deck instead of this eldrazi deck. Looks cool but I don’t think it’s worth the value and it’s way overhyped and overpriced everywhere.

I like it how you hardly mention the Price taG! The foil Deck is $560 here in South Australia borderline criminal price hikes remind us how much Wizzards hates its customer base and has no problem reminding us "This product is not for you" And then to see that the cards in the deck both decks I have play sets of most of everything some of it I have x8 why??? the Price Hike? I mean $80 for a commander deck or even $100 for a commander deck is adequate right!!! the box states ages 13+ right? because its totally normal for a 13 year old to spend over $500 on a Deck of EDH. FOMO on this set is not worth the hype.

You should speak in your native language and pay for a subtitle generator. Might sound more exciting. It's very rough to watch the videos NOT because you don't speak english well but i feel like you do not add much emotion. I'd love to hear your native tongue and how it translates to your videos! Just an idea.
