When I was younger this Avon lady would always come to the house as my mom would usually buy a lipstick. I was In love with her makeup. I think my grandmother did that. Avon is also at a price point that let her buy a few things to be polite. She seriously knew every Avon Lady who had ever sold in her neighborhood. She also said she could tell just by looking who sold Avon or Mary Kay and that she never liked any of the Mary Kay women

Avon! I used to get so excited for the catalogues coming through the door when I was a kid. Had to get in on the rub perfume samples 😂 Just flipping through the catalogues, seeing how they laid out all the makeup swatches, especially the eyeshadow and eyeliner squiggles, was everything to 10 year old me.

I know this is 6mths old. But, u r the ONLY other person i know that uses the "blink method " when applying mascara-especially on others. I worked at Clinique when i was in college (15yrs ago🤫) and it is sooo much easier! I never understood why MUA's don't use this method🤷🏻‍♀️

I was raised by my grandma and she had the same Avon lady for YEARS who lived right up the street lol. She’d drop off the books, stop by, etc. My grandma had the perfumes, lotions, lipsticks and she’d get us nail polishes, jewelry, etc. It never failed- Avon stuff in the stocking or for my birthday or any other special occasion. Sometimes just because too. 😊 Good memories!
