This video has just helped me so much. I've been carrying around a lot of pent up loneliness and sadness but I couldn't let it out, until you said "I don't like seeing you like this. I care so much about you." I burst into tears. It doesn't sound like a good thing but it really was, I had to relax enough to let my emotions come through. Thank you for this, I appreciate it so very much.

I wish you would put your other wonderfully comforting videos back up, pretty please? I legitimately miss them. I suffer from a completely debilitating chronic illness. I have for about a decade. My husband is wonderful and my friends try to be supportive, but I feel like a burden so to be able to watch your videos, to hear the care and concern... I know it’s just the Internet but it soothes my soul in a way that I desperately need. Even being able to care for myself on a daily basis is beyond my ability, so your videos where you are taking care, washing hair, it’s incredible impactful. I miss those videos so, so much. 3:35 “I won’t leave you”. 😔

Kathryn Hall I relate, they traumatise you. And I thought I would never get over it but I did eventually after finding asmr and going bed more early. My mother recently passed away and my dads abusive so I’m using asmr to make me forget my surroundings and relax 💗💗 god bless xx

The only thing I wish I could have, is to actually feel any touches. Growing up, my mother and grandpa would play with my curly hair, and very lightly paint their fingertips across my face or back. But.. that doesn't happen anymore. You grow older, and no one wants to touch you. Those slight brushes and awkward hand-touches immediately mean everything, and while you smile it off when they apologize, you silently wish it could have lasted longer. I've found that I'm not the only one, as I've used these same methods to soothe my own friends and sometimes even strangers. I just wish it felt more safe to ask about this sort of thing- Because almost everyone craves physical touch after being left alone for so long. But no body talks about it like it's okay.

my father left me when i was little but my mother abandoned me several times throughout my childhood, leaving me for months and even up to a year and a half at abusive households where i couldn’t contact her and she recently left me for the very last time. i’m 15 now and i’m in a safer environment but i’ve always wanted a mother or father figure to care for me- this was really comforting, thank you !!

Thank you for all you do for us ❤️ This and your Panic Attack Calming vids are my go-to videos for when I am having a panic crisis. I grew up in a household/family full of dehumanization, invalidation, and I have a slew of mental health issues because of it. My issues send me into place so dark, so intensely dark, and these videos pull me out of that darkness. I finally got to sit and watch this before bed last night. My word was it ever beautifully done. You make it so real. This comforts me better than my own mother. After a lot of negative stuff happened, she became broken. I cant seek her for comfort anymore because her only answer is "then I don't know". I miss having this kind and level of comfort.

I've recently started to work on my PTSD and I felt nothing but shame, guilt, fear and lonliness. A friend recommended ASMR and I found your videos. I cried (and I dont usually do that) through most of this video because for the first time in a very long time I felt safe and loved. You have a very soothing voice that makes me believe I can survive this. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos.

I have yet to make it to the end of this one but it's forever saved to my nightly asmr sleep playlist. I don't usually like soft-spoken but the pieces scattered throughout that are soft-spoken in this one really work with the contrast of whispers. Thank you for this! After some pretty terrible years I can't fall asleep to actual noise happening anywhere I'm sleeping or in the house so I drown it out with asmr and the length and tone of this one is so great. ❤️

I almost teared up in the beginning because I had this treatment growing up as a child alot but faded as I got older but the comfort was always there if I needed it or just because. The anxiety part got me cause I get anxious in cars filled with people sometimes idky. That hit me and made listen also cause of comfort too

I wish my mother wasn't abusive when growing up. For a short period of time you made me feel what it would feel like to have a regular mom, caring mom. Thank you so much for helping me and many others experience that.

This is a wonderful way to enjoy yourself. I’ve always been the person that could use some personal attention, and someone to talk to. This was a great video to have. I look these up often because it will be about 1:00AM in the morning when I want these kind of things and nobody else is awake. I’m very thankful people make these videos. We all are. Your voice is very calming and much comfort. I appreciate what you do, making people feel better is one of the things I relish at. You are the best! 😜😌😊❤️

Omg, Joanne, that was EXACTLY what I needed! A perfect blend of tingles and TLC. I liked the Don't-Worry-Be-Happy pillow cuz I sleep with six! You have such a gift for comforting others. The basket followed by the guided imagery indeed put my mind at ease. I'll watch this every night until my surgery (5/24). God bless. p.s. I think the blue end of the spectrum adds a certain calm and intimacy. It's perfect.

I watch you every night and you never fail to make me sleep like a baby. My cousin was born today and the doctors say he will not make it through the night and I am an emotional wreck. I just want to say thank you for being here and calming me during my time of need. You make a difference.

I didn’t realize until my mid twenties how much having an emotionally unavailable, physically distant, and authoritarian mother affected me and my perception of the world. To not have that foundation of love and safety really can cripple you for a lifetime 💔
