In this video were checking out the ASRock X570 Taichi Motherboard that supports Ryzen 2000 and 3000 CPUs.
We want to make it clear that our motherboard videos aren't reviews, they are overviews. We are not doing VRM analysis or board tear downs or anything like that. There are plenty of other channels that cover that stuff. We're not one of them. Don't ask why we don't do it because that's not what we do here.

@@YourChannelisAss Strix E is like 15 US dollars more expensive then Taichi, so vasivsllt in the same price range. Though Strix E has a 6 layer PCB whilst Taichi has an 8 layer PCB, judgding from the fact that Taichi weights 3.15 KG, whilst Strix E is only 1.13KG

I've never been an ASRock fan, but this X570 Taichi is beautiful. A little birdie told me that the X570 prices were in the ballpark of the same named boards using the Z390 chipset. If true, then this board would be somewhere between $210 to $230. It will be fun to find out if it's true.

If I pull out power supply fan and put in a Riing Trio RGB Fan @ full speed (For RGB of course, thermaltake is too costly) will the PSU start up without fan. I am planning on Antec HCG 1000 extreme psu (3 pin header is there for psu fan).

Wi-Fi 6 is a gamechanger for areas with a lot interference among other things. If you havent heard a breakdown , go check it out. It's interesting.

Honestly I prefer more the design of the Taichi x470, and what to say of having to remove the entire cover to put the SSD and if I forget to remove the cable by the RGB? ... I consider this design as a setback rather than an improvement. Good video

This board runs hot as fuck. Built two 3900x systems, first one with a 5700xt, the chipset ran in the high 70's and I was worried it was gonna hit 80+ and shutdown. I moved the gfx card to the 2nd slot. It looks terrible there and blocks a lot of the cool design though :/ The second build is my own personal, I've got a hybrid water cooling 2080 coming, I went with this hoping with the radiator blowing heat outside the case I'll be able to still use the first pci-e slot for it. I install Tuesday. Amazon has a good return policy so I might return that card later and get the 2080 super, I was just impatient for now. Oh and with a temporary 1060 in my build until then my chipset is running at 63c at idle, still mighty hot....

In my opinion it is, its the best bang for the buck if you want the most features between 250$-300$. A nice little feature is the T Topology for the RAM, OC with all Slots populated will give higher clocks compared too Daisy Chain which other Vendors have on X570 MBs. Crucial Ballistix Sport with Micron Chips OC really well as from what I heard. I wanted too go for the C7H first but now Ive changed my mind for this Board. Ill also be purchasing the new RX 5700X instead of a Vega 56. Ill be waiting until the end of Fall appr. before purchasing.

Man this aorus master, crosshair viii or even the msi creation im not sure what board im getting for the 3900x. I might stick with asus i like their bios and their rgb integration. But i fill like the master has one of the best vrm setup of the bunch.

@@Rontonyy Hi Daniel, Daisy Chain memory gives more fps if we have 2 ram stickson mobo, and T-Topology is optimized for 4 ram sticks, so it sucks a bit for us. Let's wait for reviews or ask people who got X570 to test 2 sticks vs 4, but ultimately 2 sticks will always give less fps on this board. You can ask people on Actually Hardcore Overclocking youtube channel, they will tell you the same. Have a good day o/

Why do most X570 look ugly? This one just look too over the top while its Z390 look simpler yet more elegant. The X570 Aorus Master look worse than the Z390 version with less RGB lighting and a uglier face plate on the chipset.
