I decided to play this game again after getting recommended about it. I can't believe I didn't finish it at all earlier. This is the most fun I've had with any other action game other than DMC lmao. Expect a combo video in the future.
Not sure why but YT bugged out today resulting in several comments being outright removed. I can see them in my notifications but I don't see them in RU-vid Studio at all. RIP
Just for anyone who isn't aware, both asaru and Amelia have secret moves that aren't in the movelist in case you see an attack you have never seen before. Took me longer to figure them out than I'd care to admit, since I couldn't find them online at all, which I guess shows how this game still needs more attention
Love how you got something like a guard fly going on in that boss fight. Yeah, Assault Spy is mad fun. Sure it's kinda jank in places, but the good stuff you can pull off is just amazing!
''This is the most fun I've had with any other action game other than DMC lmao.'' Yes, exactly, it is so overlooked sadly! Glad you're enjoying it, looking forward to the combo video :3
Have you checked out Soulstice? It looks interesting and some enemy mechanics are refreshing. However, it does seem a little slow pace. That might just be because of who played it though. Also, Midnight Fight Express looks great too but i dont know if you would be interested since its basically an isometric lower budget Sifu with a few guns. Still looks really fun and has a great combo system.
Yeah idk how I'm feeling about Soulstice atm. It seems really bare bones from what I've seen so far. I'd rather pick up a different action game. As of midnight fight express, I haven't heard about it until now. Not sure if I'll play that either too since I got a lot of other stuff I wanted to check out lol.
Yeah I have problems with some of the combat while trying to specific things. Like tricking down on the ground while I'm in the air will result in me just doing a double jump or some sort.
So is this another game where enemies are just defenseless combo fodder? That's what I hate about DMC and why I prefer Ninja Gaiden's brutality. I wanna care more about combo games, but there's hardly ever any pressure in them until you beat them and unlock their super mega difficulties, BP equivalent, and all of your abilities which is a waste of my time grinding out. This is giving me a similar impression.
