Your channel is an absolute godsend. I’m currently recovering from moderate~severe pneumonia in my right lung and your videos have been my guiding light with this condition I’ve found myself. I’ve been following some of your pulmonary rehab videos at home and was feeling improvement until this afternoon when I stepped out to pick up my child from school (just resumed this activity today after husband had been taking over the past few weeks while I was ill) then I suddenly found myself back with frequent coughing fits that had significantly reduced previously, and so I was so confused. But then this video about the weather and environment has given a potential explanation for the culprit or will help me to narrow down what the trigger could be. As advised, I will keep track and note down breathing related symptoms against weather and environment. Thank you so much for creating this channel and freely sharing all these specialist health information that may not be so easily accessible.
Hi Elizabeth ~ Do you have any videos - or tips as my husband was diagnosed today with EDAC and his dr. pulled him off all inhalers. He's having a difficult time. He's doing the pursed lip breathing. He's read where a CPAP will help.. Any tips appreciated - thank you! Debbie in WA Ü
@@BreatheBetterwithElizabeth Thank you for your reply. Because this is happening down the entire length, apparently a stent is not feasible. There is a surgical option involving a mesh lining, but his dr. said this is a very risky surgery and does not recommend it. He has HAD to use his albuterol inhaler the past 2 nights, although it does cause heart irregularity. Thank you for any tips. But, I understand if you're not comfortable with this
That's really okay ~ I appreciate your kind replies. He's actually getting better each day and he believes it's because he's off the inhaler/albuterol, which he's read can actually be detrimental in the long run. :)
