I haven't seen enough low budget sci fi films to rank it. Its a good movie shows how far a human/person would go to help their loved one. Sean risked all for alex and the light within her. 👍

in comparison to other bigger or smaller budgeted sci-fi films, I would say that this film is good. I had a few problems with the film... not an original story about man trying to make contact with other worldly beings and there were some moments where it was just plain awkward...some scenes were unnecessary in the film making process, but overall a B+ grade.

It was an interesting movie the actors did a good job. We as audience always want more details of course but this is a one and done movie so its up to us to discuss and leave us wondering in a way. 👍

I have seen a lot of sci-fi films dating back to the 50s because I am a sci-fi nerd and to me the movie was shot in the same style as Chronicle (2012) by keeping focus on the main characters at every turn but with major similarities in the story line coming from Starman (1984) rather than Super 8 or Contact but that is just my opinion.

Ohhh man Starman (Jeff Bridges) one of my favorites. Didn't think of Chronicles in terms of style but I'd have to go back and watch it.
