About MLB.com:
Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the internet. In August 2002, MLB.com streamed the first-ever live, full length MLB game when the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees faced off at Yankee Stadium. Since that time, millions of baseball fans around the world have subscribed to MLB.TV, the live video streaming product that airs every game in HD to nearly 400 different devices. MLB.com also provides an array of mobile apps for fans to choose from, including At Bat, the highest-grossing iOS sports app of all-time. MLB.com features a stable of club beat reporters and award-winning national columnists, the largest contingent of baseball reporters under one roof, who deliver over 100 original articles every day. MLB.com also offers extensive historical information and footage, online ticket sales, official baseball merchandise, authenticated memorabilia and collectibles and fantasy games.
Major League Baseball consists of 30 teams split between the American and National Leagues. The American League, originally founded in 1901, consists of the following teams: Baltimore Orioles; Boston Red Sox; Chicago White Sox; Cleveland Indians; Detroit Tigers; Houston Astros; Kansas City Royals; Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim; Minnesota Twins; New York Yankees; Oakland Athletics; Seattle Mariners; Tampa Bay Rays; Texas Rangers; and Toronto Blue Jays. The grandson of the legendary Harry Caray interviewing the legendary Vin Scully - doesn't get much better than that!

Anthony Kernich he was interviewed by so many commentators that year, hands down I think this is the best one. All the others were great. But this one got the best out of vin in his storytelling

Wonderful interview by Chip Caray. To think, Vin Scully was broadcasting when Harry Caray, Skip Caray and Chip were working...wow!

what's even more crazy is that 2017 is the first season that Connie Mack or Vin Scully hasn't been involved with baseball in decades - Vin started in 1950 which was Mack's last year

Harry began in STL in 1945, Vin in 1950. Only death could prevent Harry from having a career even longer than the legendary Vin's!

You can tell that Chip respects him so much. Especially with that last thank you he gave him at the end. Vin Scully is amazing, makes me so proud to be a Dodger fan

Oakley Jones more like L.A. fans were blessed for so long. At one point, the 3 most popular L.A. sports teams had hall of fame announcers behind the Mic simultaneously for decades. Chick Hearn of the Lakers, Bob Miller of the Kings, and Vin Scully.

@@jh.4770 I thought about that this evening as I was creating my tribute video for Vin Scully! As an LA native, I'm gonna miss him so much because it was his voice that made me want to watch baseball and go to Dodger Stadium!!

There has always been a mutual respect between Dodgers and Braves fans. Of course, being an L.A. native, I love the Dodgers but I have a lot of respect for the Braves and the Carays. I remember so many great games between these two great teams.

I also have mutual respect for Atlanta! Watching the Dodgers vs Braves in the 90's with Vin calling the game was some of the purest joy of my adolescence! Miss you Vin! Respect Atlanta!

I used to see him every morning dropping off his kids at chaminade middle school in chatsworth ca. when I was also a student. He had a beautiful blue Mercedes’ with gold trim! It was the only one I ever saw like that…

We can praise him and say how great he was but we never understood how much we would miss him until he was no longer in the booth. I think about Vin during every baseball game that I watch and just wish he was still calling games. It’s not a real dodgers game if vin scully is not there.
