Heartbreaking to hear about the three year old girl, mistaking fog for heaven, and searching for her big brother in it💔

"I didn't do anything" but smiled throughout the entire interview when discussing something as distressing as children's deaths

It's devastating to see the Ms. Bell crying over her deceased baby decades later. He would be 53 today. 💔

So creepy the way he talks about himself in the the third person. You can feel his contempt for everyone through the screen. Killing children made him feel like a big man. He's an arrogant narcissist and a monster.

I'm sorry but the fact that he smirked after he said "I didn't kill anybody." Sold me. He did it.

Poor babies, there's nothing lower than someone that can take a childs life. Rest In Peace beautiful babies 🙏

His smile of duping delight throughout is a real clincher for his guilt.

Basically, his attitude is saying, "I did it, but there was no real proof".

This guys a gifted liar. But he enjoyed the attention of this reporter. His smirking face, while talking about murdered children gave me chills, and demonstrated his sociopathic tendencies.

If I was wrongfully accused of 27 murders, I would be screaming my innocence and distraught I was taken in to custody. This man was so calm from his first arrest up to now. He's guity as cat poop. Period.

Whenever someone starts talking about themselves in the third person, that's when I get the creeps and know very quickly that somethings not firing on all cylinders.

Crocodile tears from the stepmom. 15 bodies turn up in your area and you still leave a 12 year old boy unsupervised running the streets.. top it off you knew he wanted to go play detective and find a SERIAL KILLER. Shameful beyond belief.

He used the race card to commit these murders. He knew the children wouldn’t be covered in the media the way it would have and then tried to use it to say he didn’t do it. He’s a predator, an opportunist and a monster.

Not sure if it’s just me over analyzing. But when Wayne was asked if he ever met any of the victims, he says no but nods his head almost as if saying yes at the same time.

Body hits the water and he's the only car on the bridge that late at night. They caught him red-handed that night and they knew the caught their killer.

I'm a plumber and when I'm working in a black community everyone takes notice of me. It couldn't have been a white person believe me. Wayne has dupers delight all over his face. They got the right guy.

The fact alone that the murders stopped after he was detained says it all! And his victim blaming is sickening.

Serial killers stop for 1 of 3 reasons. #1 They die. #2 They go to prison. #3 They age out and lose their ability to overpower people. They dnt want to turn into a victim themselves. He 100% did this. The reason he’s so calm in prison is because he can’t overpower them dudes. That’s why he attacked the youth.

His temper came out in that interview. The fact that he said these victims roamed the streets at all kinds of hours and places they shouldn't have been, that statement got me because how would you even know where these victims were at when they were taken and killed. Only the killer would know where these victims were at the time they were taken.

I was never more convinced that Wayne Williams had killed at least the two men he was convicted of until I saw these interviews. Smug, seeming to refuse to answer direct questions directly, smirks, professing to be a scapegoat. I doubt you could make him for all the murders, but I believe he did most of them and he's exactly where he needs to be.

Funny how the murders stopped once they put this innocent man in prison 🤔

This is a hard watch. As a mother i cannot fathom the pain of all these parents having to identify and bury their children.

This guy smiles too much to be innocent. If I was innocent of murder and was in prison for it, I wouldn't be smiling while trying to play the good guy in an interview like that. I would be so upset and angry, and sad.

Every time he kept saying, “ we’re not gonna get in to that” on every question Soledad asked, I kept saying “BECAUSE YOU’RE GUILTY AS HELL!”. And yet another thing that makes it so obvious he’s guilty, is: there were no more murders, and no more bodies were discovered after he was caught . I hope the families can at the very least get some kind of closure and as much peace as possible, knowing he can’t hurt anyone else. Glad they finally caught him.

The way he minimized the kids walking around at night, putting themselves at risk tells it all. This man is a malignant narcissist.

It’s heartbreaking it took a over a year for a task force to be formed. How many lives could have been saved if they’d acted sooner?

Wayne Williams had so much self hate as a black man living in a black neighborhood and world, the amount of contempt he had rooted for his own people is deep in itself.

I’m Australian I got a lift from Ivan Milat he pulled over for a joint (in what I now know as Belango State forest after a toke I was helpless he went from really nice guy to psycho in a second I realized I was fucked ! I just agreed with everything he said he dropped me back at highway & told me which direction to Melbourne ( all the way he repeats like a mantra he’s a really nice guy over & over !For those who don’t know Milat is a Australias worst serial killer I never spoke to police or anyone about it !For what it’s worth in 3 minutes I felt sick & scared by this guy can’t believe he played race card so quick & what does serial killer look like ????huh????!?

A younger co-worker of mine hit me with a new theory a few months ago. What if Homer and Wayne worked together. It wolud explain why he was seen burning pictures in a bonfire a night or two after Wayne's arrest. It would explain the missing yellow blanket, the ligament cord, and Homer's peculiar behavior before and after Wayne became a suspect. Homer's presence at the Sinatra/Davis fundraiser looks a lot like someone who can’t refuse the attention that his crimes had gotten.

This story terrified me as a child. Still does.

A serial killer,or any random killer,doesn't want to know their victims names. They dont want to see them as a person. So when he says he never "met" these people, he's not lying. He didn't ask their name and actually didn't know who they were. As for everything else he said,he's a liar.

If a body falls from a bridge, late at night (mind you right in front of an officer) and you are the only one on the bridge...you guilty 😮

Rare fibers with an extremely distinct cross section found on the victims match fibers found in his home. Dog hair found on victims match the very animal found to live inside his home. Human hairs found on victims whose DNA evidence rules out 98% of the nation's population and yet does not rule him out. Not to mention the abrupt lack of more victims beginning the day he was arrested. As a juror, there is only one logical conclusion. Guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Add in the extreme oddly timed smiles from the convicted during conversation about murdered children... the correct person is serving time for these crimes.

Ms. Bell is such an articulate, intelligent woman. Too bad the police didn't listen to her sooner. Very thankful that she fought for justice for her son, and the other missing/murdered children. Such a heartbreaking story.

I remember growing up in the same neighborhood and told don’t talk to anyone. And don’t play on our porch. This was something terrifying…. I remember us sleeping with our parents when this was happening. SMH

I'm just a single white lady. I'm in my 5th decade now, so I remember these murders. This is the first time I was told that Wayne Williams was so small!?? Thank God I didn't get a shot at him back then!! I'm a mother, that piece of garbage would have been begging HELL to save him from me! I'm 6ft 230lbs and work with German Shepherds, that man is lucky I wasn't around back then!(at my current statue) nobody hurts kids in my world!

I was between 17 and 19 years old when these murders accured. What a horrifying time. They were talking about his size but he was older and they were little boys at the time. He was stronger and evil. He had extra strength.

Wayne Williams hair DNA matched the murdered children in 2007.

Being someone who had a young girls come up missing when i was in high school And eventually she was killed by someone in community and they charged a young black kid with I Q of small child.….. This man 35 year later is still in Prison and no one in community believe right person is in jail. So it's very easy to convicted someone and conviennce a junior to convict a person it not hard to do in court of law

I remember this, I was planning on moving my family to Atlanta at that time but I had 3 young children all boys. I wasn't willing to put my children in danger. This didn't just scare people of of color in Atlanta, this scared people of color everywhere.

I hope he never get out of prison he is a narcissist and a psychopath

Beyond the evidence presented, I noticed his arrogance, narcissistic attitude similar to those I know who refuse to take accountability, and love of attention (smiling and enjoying the spotlight being on him). I didn't believe any bs he was spouting. It was a performance made to drag on so the attention continued to be on him. Additionally, the victim blaming of anyone, but particularly children bothered me. Saying that they essentially did it to themselves. It's telling.

I live in Canada and remember hearing about this almost daily on the news. My family was horrified that there were so many young boys murdered and equally horrified at how long it took them to notice a pattern and finally catch the killer! Ive never forgotten his name in all these years and hope he burns in hell for eternity!!

After I seen the interview with the suspect and that evil grin it sealed it for me that he's a sexual predator serial killer 😡 The right person is behind bars! Nice to see that the Rat Pack got involved to bring attention to the case! Rip little angels 🙏

So the so-called 'Atlanta Child Murderer' was convicted of zero child murders. Extremely bizarre case and worrying for the justice system.

These serial killers always say the most stupid things when they get caught, of course noone seen you doing anything to anybody, why in the world would you do anything in front of someone. That's called a witness. What a monster this guy was. If you didnt do it then dont you think after all these years the real killer would have been caught? They totally have the right guy. RIP to all these beautiful children and my heart aches for all the parents. Even after all these years this is still heartbreaking.

When someone is innocent there is a certain aura of sadness and sorrow that's unique that can't be faked that goes along with professing it. This guy was calm, non chalant, unbothered. The way LE handled this case was disgraceful ALL children are precious and should be protected. That journalist was too aggressive with him she should have matched his persona. I remember this case so vividly , I was a teenager working at a museum in harlem and the artist in residence was doing real time art about it , every week and child that got murdered , it was so sad 😮
