For years, several young girls in the Midwest went missing. Some were found murdered. Others were never found at all. This CNN documentary examines how police investigated the cases and the questions families were left with. #CNN #News
Yo Jimmy, thx for protecting girls and women everywhere by risking your life going inside, befriending this psycho and getting the details to keep him in prison for life. Respect.
What came out of this? An amazing award winning and STUNNING show called Black Bird! Jimmy kept a serial rapist child murderer behind prison bars! Thanks Jimmy!
Black Bird is an amazing series! Jimmy kept that serial child raping murderer behind bars! What an extraordinary mission! I searched Jimmy online and he has a new book called the Chicago Phoenix. I bet he tells more incredible stories! I ordered a copy! Cannot wait to read it!
my Cat went missing for 8 days and I could barely eat or do anything other than search for him.... and that's a cat, so totally agree can't even imagine how pain these parents pain is.
@@631matthew lost a cat once and it was awful, my thought as well can't even imagine how bad it would be to replace that cell or cat with a Kid. Awful!
The loss of one's child is something that you'd never even wish upon your worst enemy. It leaves a massive empty void in your soul and your very being.
Lucky he was paroled, but why in the world did he blow his cover when he had the evidence in his hands, w/ the dots and the falcons ? After going through all that ?? Oh my, what a screw up ! I am surprised there's no footage about him agonizing about blowing his cover. Doesn't seem to make sense that an experienced football player and drug dealer and then hard worker to get to the answer, would blow it all and lose his cool to where the murderer destroyed the evidence.
@@timmellin2815 He did not blow his cover and he never screwed anything up, get a grip and learn the facts! And he was only involved in marijuana, which is now legal and should have been back then too, and it is something you use daily, hypocrite! This CNN show is originally from 2008 and his case happened long before that. There have been tons of new evidence and developments that have occurred from all the recorded confessions he got from the serial killer! Overall, you really are an overall uninformed commenter! Remember he got over 20 recorded confessions on different other victims which confirmed the serial killer killed the young victims! You seem to have forgot about that very big important part! That is why the child rapist serial killer lost his appeal! If not for him, the serial killer would for sure have been released to kill young girls again! To all sane people that makes him a hero! On behalf of all parents thank you Jimmy Keene for all your help!

One of my cousin's sons was kidnapped and killed by a secret police from a Central American country years ago. She never recovered his body, she doesn't know where he was killed exactly, she couldn't bury her son, she doesn't have a place in a cemetery to go visit him. I think that is a type of pain that is very difficult to explain. In those countries they do it to keep people in their place, quiet. It's very cruel.

Yes, I’ve seen this one too and given how unsettling this case the cast did a bang-up job portraying the story and so did the casting people (don’t know the proper title of them) in finding and bringing them together. Also a TW; do not watch if you’re triggered by abuse/homicide/ rape concerning kids etc. It’s ok to pass watching something that everyone marks as a must-see.
can't remember comedians name, talking about Oral Roberts, 'you think, man, it's gotta be rough growing up with a name like Oral... ...& then u meet his brother Anal..'
@@mindsigh4 That’s hilarious I have never heard of them. There’s a group called the Hogg family in an area that I’m aware of and they named the kids “Ima” and “Ura”
So two young women are approached by a sketchy man in a van near the spot where another young student had been abducted a week earlier and the police let him go without any investigation? Hello!
Well, they hardly had any reason, let alone legal cause to question him at all. I'm sure a lot of people talked to a lot of other people in that area all the time. That is not a crime.
@@Erebus.666. a young woman is missing and quite possibly kidnapped and murdered. He’s a sketchy guy driving around in a van and following young women! I think he definitely should have been taken in for questioning and they should have done a background check. The lives of innocent people is much more important than inconveniencing one guy. Who by the way turned out to be a serial killer
@@jamesl9371 But he never turned out to be a serial killer, he became a suspected serial killer on very scant 'evidence'. And cops can't just drag people in for random questioning on just a hunch, there needs to be reasonable suspicion which doesn't mean just talking to random people.
When she says she can hear her daughter saying hi Mom. It has been 7 yrs and I still expect my son to come in the door and say hey Mom. I had a dream quite a while after he passed, and when I woke up I thought it was all a dream. I went downstairs calling him and saying I had the worst dream, it was awful.... I was so relieved when I woke up, until I got downstairs and realized it wasn't a dream, it was real
💔 I can only imagine what you have to be going through fellow Mom. Always remember and focus on the love you both had together. That will always be. Hugs and love hun.
I was taken by someone w.hile at a bar in Davenport, Iowa back in 83. I had to have been slipped something in my drink and some how got away and ran across Interstate 80 into Pleasant Valley and ran to a house where they called police. I was arguing with a officer when I came out of the blackout. Who ever had me threw my wallet in a mail box in Gary, Indiana. They were bad people who had me. Its a mirace I survived. There are predators everyway I have 2 big dogs and I am extremely careful Going thru that changed me. I never recovered those memories. Just vague memories of the bridge that crosses the Mississippi river I stopped drinking after that. Wish I could say I never drank again but 2 years later I did drink and it was a hot mess This is reality for me I am lucky to be alive

The law has no problem with dangling a carrot. This guy was not a violent, sadistic, murderer. The moral implications of putting this guy at such risk, makes no sense to me. Then again, only in Murcia!
While this is true, I also also think that after 15 yrs dealing drugs and with his athletic abilities, he has the perfect skill set to get this guy to open up and tag him. Any dealer knows how to watch his back esp one who did it that long and was involved with the CHI mob and Mexican cartels. My brother, Jimmy, was a high school super star. He just couldn't get past that feeling of being "special." He'd lie, cheat, and steal to get money to throw around like a big shot. He fell in love with cocaine and the super ego high it gave him. That cost a whole bunch of money, though. He kept stealing and getting in trouble until he finally hung himself. 🙄
A lot of people have difficult childhoods, yet they don't become serial killers, kidnappers, or rapists. Blaming one's upbringing for such heinous crimes is NOT an excuse, and I wish reporters would refrain from presenting it as such.
The horror the victims of serial killers go through, and the suffering their families must endure just to satisfy the urges of a serial killer. That is pure evil. And to think many of them are still living, in prison, but alive. Makes you wonder, is that justice?
Indeed. I've seen it send a victims family insane before. The criminal eventually was release but got himself killed less than a year later, apparantly pissed the wrong people off.
People say them sitting in prison for life is suffering but I disagree. They get to make friends, they don’t have the stresses of life we do, they don’t have to worry about food, electricity, where they’ll lay their heads at night. They have a commissary, they can call their families, they can get pen pals, they can marry their pen pals and have conjugal visits and create offspring. There is no justice in my opinion.

I live in Wisconsin, once a friend told me that one night he left a gas station and someone came up to his car and turned on a red light. They just sat there for a while and then this guy got out of the car and walked up to my friend’s car and said he was a cop. The red light on the guy’s car wasn’t a roller light or a flashing light. When he said he was a cop, I friend told him right away that he wasn’t no cop. He told him to get a life and my friend took off. This was around 1980/81. Years later, they found out that John Wayne Gacy used to do the same thing sometimes. JWG used to ride on the strip where the water parks are in Wisconsin Dells looking for people. That’s not far from where my friend lived.
