How expensive would a bed regrind be? I would think that the flat bed atlas would be a little easier than the v ways that many (probably most) have.

have you visited the atlas lathe site on yahoo? they may have what you need at a reasonable price

Yeah I did. Great help. I found all the parts now put the project on hold.. remodeling my garage workshop now..

why not just sandblast it? I saw you had the ability to do that on some of the other parts on your earlier videos

My compressor died. All I had at the time was a 5 gallon portable. I was getting 20 seconds or less of blast then refill. LOL

Soak the stuff in Purple power. use full strength and use gloves.
