Preface, I'm in my mid 40s and am long past most middle school shit. That said, this whole situation has been fascinating since the initial release. Brax absolutely crushed this reply. Gold standard of being harsh but extremely fair and non-hyperbolic. As for Atsu, I will call out and agree that he has been mega out of line for years. I will, however, say that I on reflection, I think he is a very broken person and always has been, and for that, I pity him and don't blame him. He does need help and I hope he gets that help. Everything Atsu has done strikes me super strongly of a person with super low self-esteem (like me) who puts up a great bluffing front (like me), who wants desperately to feel powerful and influential, yet in their own mind never lives up to the standards that they think that others have for them (like me). It sucks. It has taken me 15+ more years than Atsu to begin to address my own trauma, but trauma is not a get-out-of-jail-free card for doing horribly shitty things. I also learned this lesson. I hope Atsu gets the help he very much needs, and stays the fuck out of the influencer space unless and until he works on himself. He is young, he can still change, but I have never seen such drama where one side self-reports so regularly and is so disingenuous and out of touch with reality.

From what I see, he's still manipulating the audience by saying he will quit from youtube and streaming and make people sad about him so after some time, when he returns everyone will be excited to see him, and things will be like nothing happened.

The stuff he said about Zy0x was insanely dangerous. Making it seem like he had committed actual crimes. I don’t know how the dude was so forgiving about it on his stream, I would have went through Atsu for wording things in that way. That’s the danger of having Atsu first state he’s mentally unwell, has tried to take his own life, is in a bad place, etc. So few people want to “make things worse for him” and call him out for that. All in all this whole document feels like a last attempt to take everyone down with him when he could have just apologised and been done with it. Insanity.

Here’s something that I feel like no one has been talking about: How do we know Nekopii cheated? It’s literally him just claiming she did, right? Is there any evidence that that’s what she did? If according to everyone in this sphere, Atsu’s such a manipulative person, what makes people think that he hasn’t been just making the cheating allegation up to explain his divorce? It’s just his explanation for the divorce, and we’re taking it at face value, but for all we know he could be lying and slandering his now-ex wife. She’s not on the internet anymore, so she can’t defend herself, right? Who’s to say he hasn’t been emotionally battering this woman during and after their relationship? And yes, I know this is all speculation, but that’s the point: We *don’t* know anything outside of taking this guy’s word and apparently everyone thinks he’s a liar, couldn’t he be lying about this part too? What if they were separated, and she moved on to have a relationship, but he said she cheated because technically they were still married? Like, literally no one is talking about Nekopii and it’s crazy to me that everyone has been calling this dude a pathological, manipulative liar, but THIS is the one thing everyone’s letting stand on it’s face. Maybe people don’t want to touch that personal boundary, but let’s think about it: If he’s lying, then Nekopii is a victim of him bullying her which would be fucked up. Unless people know something behind this scenes that we don’t, it’s super weird no one has called this into question.

I caught wind of this whole thing from Teccy going over and just now seeing the brax response via your vid. All I can say from this situation is, put simply, Atsu is a problem. His puppet master wannabe mental resulted in the damage, potentially unrepairable, of multiple people, friendships, and relationships in this space. I won't defend his wife cheating on him, but given his shit online I can't imagine he was much better in person. No telling what happened between them without her commenting, still would say break up with him before cheating but that's my $.02. Despite all that, 0 sympathy for Atsu. One caveat. Cheating on someone can absolutely be something that affects someone's mental health and there's other things that can do that. However, I will say that responsibility for one's own mental health is absolutely something that is our own responsibility.

Idk about anyone else but I do not like the "nice guy" or the "I take no sides" people. My personal experience is that these people are the most manipulative people I have ever met and the people I end up regretting getting closer to. Ironically I feel bad for atsu in the sense that his "friends" are the I will throw anyone under the bus if it helps me. To have so called friends that stood by watching their "friend" ruin himself and his career and not stand up or confront him but to sit back and let it happen until they were brought into the situation (which is messed up also) is pretty sad. Atsu 100% sounded manipulative when reading everything in Atsu's document screamed manipulation. Atsu tried taking other content creators down in the process which truly shows his mental state. Atsu couldn't even apologize for his behavior, Atsu has always placed himself into a lot of drama he made himself the golden child of hoyo and told everyone to be nice while also being a snake. Isolation 100% sucks, knowing that people hate you for something you had no control over or due to being deemed weird by one person is rough. I had it happen in my first two years of college until I failed and had to come back. I feel bad for Atsu being cheated on but what happened to him was his bad behavior catching up with him. the thing about atsu giving more treatment towards bigger channels and/or girls could be a case he doesnt directly know he does, this even includes white males. its mainly because he as stated multiple times he goes with a vib check on everyone he does or doesnt hang out with. when looking at everyone that can be bring up in this situation, the way each of them acts is noticable on a surface level that can create this bias, mainly because the type of people that go into content creation tends to need a type of peronsality to want to and withstand the shit that can happen. this is still absolutely bad because of the fact its so surface level and atsu still didnt realize this from his 52 page doc. as to if he does or doesnt now, probably not, this will need to be pointed out what and why for this to ever get fixed, but getting him to realize is that first step

Got to disagree with Hexjuice on mental health. People can have a responsibility on a person's mental health and play a direct role in their mental health declining. See for example, kids who are bullied and tormented in school then opt to take their own life or shoot up the school. Other instances, a male teacher falsely accused by his wife of domestic abuse, which resulted in him getting suspended indefinitely from his job and having his reputation ruined. Said teacher opts to kill himself because of domino effect of that person's action. So no, someone can directly impact your mental health because mental health is directly influenced by our environment.

I played HI3rd (CL 84), Genshin Impact (AR 57), Star Rail (TL 70) and before Brax released his first doc, I had no clue who any of these people are. I only knew Brax, Zyox, Zajef and Xlice.
