My first Audi was a UR Quattro what an amazing car ❤ sadly i sold it and regretted it ever since. The Audi 90e has it's beautifull 5 cylinder 10 value none turbo engine
Robert Bradley - Excellent BUY! I'm a big fan of old Audi made in 80's 90's. it's nice to see the car in good hands :) Very rare model now days especially in such condition, one of the most solid cars Audi ever made - this were build to last forever.
Crazily enough I got my uncles b3 Audi 90 2.3e which from the age of 9 I wanted it, well long story short I was looking for it for nearly 20 years & found it. I'm slowly finishing it off it's only done 31k miles since 1989 hopefully it'll be on the road this summer
@@robicool once it's all completed I want to do a video of when it was new to when I found it when I first started it after 13 years of sitting and when I've finished it but I've no idea how to do it all. Do you take your car to Audi shows or meets?
Hey your car is absolutely beautiful. My dad is an audi enthusiast and i want to buy him an audi 90 quattro but they're so rare i cant find any for sale on the internet. Do u have any advice or reccomendations on buying one and finding one?
All is well :) 20v.org is the best resource for info like that, and all the audi forums. I'm planning to get the front resprayed to get rid of all the stone chips, then it'll be 100% mint.
Beautiful Audi good to know your now the new owner. Could you send a link please of where to buy new parts for a Audi 90e 5 cylinder 10 value none turbo. New suspension complete. new disks and calipers 4 of each. My Audi 90e is a G reg any help would be appreciated It needs alot of new parts as they are totally worn out and this Audi's worth saving!!!
For OEM parts I look for the VAG part number on 7zap (7zap.com/en/catalog/cars/Audi/), and then search on eBay and Autodoc. Auditradition has a big stock of NOS parts, but you need to know the correct part numbers to search for them. Join the Classic Audi group on Facebook - everyone there is very helpful. Best of luck 👍👍
Ohh, I just went to a guy who makes custom exhausts and he made it himself. It's quite big, with proper chambers and baffles and everything, not just a straight through type. Probably similar to the OEM silencer really. The rear silencer is straight through, and there's no cat, so it's something like 5/10 on the loud scale.
@@robicool would you be able to send me over some pictures of the underside of the car if you ever have it on the lift, would love to see the setup as to where the resonators are? You can send them to info (at) aaronfleming.ie
@@robicool Thanks for the reply. I read years ago that the best design for a custom exhaust on the FWD 90 20v saloon is a small muffler where the cat was, large centre box and smaller back box. Apparently this config helps to keep noise down a bit and reduce resonance if that's the aim. Not sure where I read that or if there's any truth in it but that sounds similar to the original system 😎
you should totaly get the chrome parts to original state, cause they aint black usualy. makes the look a little bit like an audi 80. the crome parts were part of the 90 and its sad to see when its black foiled
