Holiday song with holiday reverb! hahaha! :D I love the meaning of Auld Lang Syne. It makes me feel grateful. (Although it's technically not a holiday song, it's often associated with New Year's Eve.)
I love celebrating a new year because it means I get to try again. Hahaha! :D By now, I know to be realistic with resolutions, but it makes no difference. Regardless of the outcome, I enjoy this new energy I feel when the new year is just around the corner.

@Il Bugiardo dell'Umbria Well, it's Scots, which is a mush of Nordic and English, spoken in the lowlands of Scotland. Kind fo interesting to trace the roots fo these things. E.g. compare old English to Dutch. Very close, and about halfway between English and German

+Malukah Hi Malu! I've recently had Mr. Burns as a topic in British literature at University, and I couldn't help, but your lyrics seem different from those I found as the original. I'm not really from an English-speaking country, though (much like you, I'd imagine) and thus I don't really know for sure, but... do they have some modern "translation" from the Scottish dialect, or something? I mean, it'd make lots of sense, with this song being a tradition and all, but... I simply have no idea.

I once commented on this video near enough when you uploaded it, after I heard your collaboration on baba yetu, I am a Scottish Highlander, I had forgotten about your wee video here, and searched it for tonight, who would have thought this would make a 41year old highlander tear up some....
