2 aurora videos in a day? We getting fed tonight

Her journey is so fun to watch. From the early days, when she had a bit of stage fright and didn't like performing, and then to see her slowly develop a love for performing. She is obviously having a lot of fun here, but if you watch anything recently, she's a madwoman on stage now. She arguably has more fun now than her fans. It is so great to watch her these days fully embrace the performing side of her as an artist. Of course, even when she didn't like performing, she was always amazing. She was less animated in the early days, but in some ways even more intense, because she would lose herself in the song, probably in part as a way to deal with her anxiety. You would sometimes see her almost surprised to hear the applause at the end, as if she forgot where she was.

The way she hits the high note in "Soft Universe" so completely effortlessly gets me every single time. It's just unreal.

Aurora really is something special. Everything about her music--the instrumentation, lyrics, performace--it's all magical. She is so in tune with life and nature. She sings with such emotion. She isn't just singing. She tells a story with every song.

Yes, you do need to see her live. Saw her in Chicago in May of '22 when she was touring for The Gods We Can Touch. It was phenomenal. She is the the real deal.

What a wonderful surprise! Not usually a fan of cell phone videos but glad someone captured the fans perspective at this show. Just fantastic energy coming off that stage. You will discover along the way just how different these two songs are done depending on the location. Like what you are doing and by all means triple up with this amazing artist--there is so much great performances to come!!

Thank you for my daily dose of Aurora!!! As good as she is in the studio, she's even better live. As you probably know, she's also a dancer and plays piano so beautifully. You need to see her in interviews. She's so quirky and weird, but in a good way. You can't take your eyes off her.

Cool! More Aurora! 😊There are a bunch of fun audience recordings of Aurora, and I always liked this one. Clearly comfortable and having fun (she didn't always early in her carreer). Watched her live twice last year and the indoor show at a smaller venue was fabulous. She did great at a festival as well, but it's just something else watching her with an audience there just to see her (and not too drunk 😁).

I would love to have seen this tour with the dancers. Aurora’s background in contemporary dance (before she became a singer) really comes through in the choreography. Her stage show, and her entire band, are different now, but still really good. You’ll probably start getting requests for some of he live performances from Lollapalooza in Brazil and Chile, because they were filmed for broadcast and are quite good. Thanks for the reaction!

I really like this dancers in performances in this period. And she is always very expressive. On this particular concert I also like general energy including crowd :). Ps. From my personal perspective more Aurora the better = I will not complain for double one in Tuesdays ;).

I really miss the Jellyfish, but all things old can become new again! Aurora looks great regardless of the hair style. Still crossing my fingers for a US Tour soon!

Ashlena, thank you for watching/listening to the Aurora concert songs at La Cigale in Paris 2018. There are a few more from that concert - all wonderful. There are YT vids of 'All is Soft Inside' ... another of 'Queendom' ... another of 'Animal' and 'The Seed' ... another of 'Running with the Wolves' ... another two with alternate angles of 'Life on Mars' with Askjell playing electric piano. You are always a treat to watch and listen to your reacting to Aurora performances. There are so very many quality YT videos that I would love to observe you be thrilled by. You enjoy, girl !!!!

Aurora had dancing lessons in classical ballet and even more in contemporary dance from the age of 6 until 16 (apparently because she was a very 'energetic' child), and only skipped them when she started her musical career, but she really loves dancing. And it seems, that she also don't want to leave anyone behind if possible, because some of these Czech dancers are participating in the 'Queendom' and also in the 'Apple Tree' music video, while after recording the Queendom music video, it probably would have been much ''cheaper' for future recordings (and life events) to hire local dancers instead of including these dancers from Czechia, but it seems, that she prefers to employ people she has worked with in the past, even if it's not the best decision from a monetary point of view.

Glad you're starting with her live clips. You have a deeeep goldmine to look firward to. KEXP, Nidarosdomen and HAIK are must see. KEXP is probably the best mini set ever. Nidarosdomen is the biggest cathedral in Norway, just an ethereal experience. And HAIK is a concert in the woods, just pure magic. ❤

Hi Ashlena ! I just saw your Aurora album reaction... Thanks so much fo reacting to this masterpiece of an album ! To be honest, when I first heard this album, I didn't like many of the songs, so I heard it more often to kind of "get used" to it. But now, together with you, I finally love this album as much as I love Aurora's other studio albums.., although she is stll much better live ! So after hearing all studio albums, what are you going to do next ? Live performances, I guess... and the best way to start this jpurney, is to begin with Aurora's best and most beautiful concert EVER : Live at Nidarosdomen ! You could practically react to this whole concert, simply because it's magical from beginning to end. But if you want to choose one special song from this concert, please start with "Lucky (Live at Nidarosdomen)" ! And don't forget, she wrote this song at the age of 9 years ! And the lyrics are so deep and meaningful... this song is considered her "anti-suicide-song"... and it's - besides all the other 11 songs - hauntingly beautiful in its arrangement and its interpretation (acoustically AND visually !) But it would be better, of course, when you react to the whole concert. 58 minutes of magic, beauty and perfection in every way possible... acousticaly AND visually. Believe me, Ashlena, you will not regret having put all the effort into this long reaction video. Ashlena, I know how you've enjoyed 'The Seed' music video and the stripped-back live acoustic performance. Well, there is a video of Aurora and her full band performing 'The Seed' live in a TV studio for a fundraiser. It is beautiful in that it recreates the music video/album track with the immediacy of live performance ... plus, you get to watch/listen to Aurora and Silja sing the most incredible vocals!! As a Swede I recognise a certain singing tecnique she often using live wich in Sweden is called kulning. In Norway the word is hujning.
