If there is one ingredient that makes an Aussie burger, it’s beetroot. She’s got the stacking order wrong also. Lettuce goes on the bottom, then tomato, etc… Fried onions, fried pineapple, hard fried egg and BBQ sauce. No mustard and no mayonnaise. The buns should be the size of a saucer plate to catch any sideways slippage.
I watched the Bacon Cheese burger vid you posted about a year ago last night and while watching it was hoping for another burger vid. Did think I'd get it the next day though Thanks :)
No, no, no... a milkbar would never assemble a burger in this fashion. Mayo and American mustard... never. You just must fry the onions, and what happened to the pineapple? ;-)
It looks great but usually there would be no mustard nor mayonnaise, just plain tomato sauce or a sweet BBQ sauce, the onions should be grilled and you didn't put a grilled pineapple slice (although granted, I have had it too without the pineapple). Also you forgot to mention that the beetroot slices are pickled, because that's how they always sold them in Australia.
