I saw the shellacking ran down our throats by Japan. This is the best U20 team the U.S. could offer? Do not confuse. I totally love this U20 World League Football. That advances football’s future. From what little I saw from Japan & Austria was great football. Japan especially was well practiced. Their O-line was crushing, I wouldn’t be surprised if we gave up 200+ yards on the ground. Congratulations to all the teams that participated. That said. Whoever runs the U.S. Team should vacate the position immediately. From a report I heard on ESPN. They stated recruited players were required to pay a fee to play. A player stated to having paid 3 payments of $1500.00 for a spot on this team. Not for nothing but if this is true. No wonder there weren’t any D4 prospects dominating the World. But who knows maybe our best was on the field. If so we are screwed boys..Screwed!

Seemed like every time they made a play they were acting like they were up by 4 tds when in fact they only led for a very short time in the 1st quarter... To me it's the ultimate embarrassment... Not losing cuz u can lose n still b classy about it... The embarrassment is in how they handled themselves...

I feel like all the top prospects and players that are under 20, they are dedicated to their high school teams or colleges. I’m not saying these can’t be talented players, but I feel like those top 10 high schools that get ESPN coverage, they would make for medal teams. But they are too busy prepping for the school year or their college life as that’s almost likely their career focus. I’ll happily be corrected if wrong and they weren’t deemed good enough for the team. But I just think they didn’t care to join this tournament over their upcoming seasons.

It's very telling in these comments that no one knew about IFAF until a week ago. We send scrubs to these tournaments at every level because doing otherwise would kill IFAF. If we sent top-tier guys, we'd blowout every other country by 250 and no one else would want to play.

There are too many high schools from multiple states that could run this for decades. The US could send third string freshmen and sophmores from Alabama,LSU,Ole Miss,Clemson,USC and some others.

News flash to all the johnny come lately folks ...this international tournament is not new...and the USA team is never very good. None of the good highschool players are going to participate ever. It's honestly more for the international teams than it is for the US players. So it really doesn't matter at all how well the USA team does.

This is on the coaching staff 1. They are terrible. 2. None of those highschool kids could tackle it seemed. But hopefully the rest of the worlds teams enjoy this, because what we put out there the next time this thing rolls around is gonna be RIDICULOUS! They are for sure gonna talk these top guys into repping the country. That or just bring out the entire IMG team and let them dominate. 😂
