The dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire was a tragedy for Humanity. I wish I would at least return as a republic. My stepfather was the son of an ethnic Pole from Chomiczówka who fought for Austria in the First World War. After the war and the dissolution of the empire, he always considered himself Austrian and that his homeland is Austria. He emigrated to Argentina in 1926. My stepfather considered himself Austrian, he passed away a few months ago. So far, this is your best version of the «Kaiserhymne/Volkshymne», a perfect blend between Noble and Military style, I think, no, I am sure that Emperor Franz-Joseph Ist would have applauded your genius.

The German Anthem uses this melody, but the original is this. The melody was composed for Franz V of Austria who was the last Roman Emperor. And the one who elevated the Archduchy of Austria into the Austrian Empire. The original title was God erhalte Franz der Kaiser( God Save Emperor Francis)
