A friend sent me this, the best SWANS-related project you'll see on RU-vid today, here's an incredibly rare clip of Michael Gira on New York public access television in 1993, spoofing beat poetry and free jazz with a piece entitled "Furniture of Sorrow".
Also includes some incredible upright bass improvisations from the inimitable and esteemed Lary Seven.

@@lasselehmann7646 It's mentioned in the 'Sacrifice and Transcendence' book by Nick Soulsby. This book is about the history of Swans/Michael Gira, and Larry 7 talks about it around the middle of the book.
