I live in Mississippi and recently did a commercial shoot outside in 100 degree, humid weather with these goggles and they did just fine. As long as the goggles are not too tight on your face and you give them a few minutes to transition to the heat, they perform great and really don't fog! For me at least.

You have to remember these guys over wherever they are. They cold and wet to them is a completely different thing than in America. Or wherever you might be. to the island with all kinds of eddies and currents

I am in southern AL and the fogging is awful due to me sweating like crazy in that 100F heat. If I want to fly during summer my only option is to plug in and throw quad on front porch while I have a chair just inside my front door. That said,my fans have made all kinds of noise since day 1.

@@ChrisHarmon1 I have the same weather as you and I am able to fly. The goggles usually fog for the first minutes because I'm sweating and it's really humid, but if you leave a little gap in the foam and don't let it fully seal on your face, it clears up for me pretty quick. I'm talking as someone who flies 5x a week in humid Mississippi weather. We've head heat warnings recently cuz it's been so hot, but they still work fine for me and don't fog as soon as they warm up.

Excellent content as usual, I like how technical you get with your reviews. On a sidenote, do you recommend switching the transmit antenna to the front instead of the top and putting a patch on it like JB did when he was talking about problems he had with the system? I’ve been thinking about switching the UFL connector inside.

Please do the same for the DJI Goggles 2/Goggles Integra and help us find a defogging solution for these goggles.. before i use a battery powered fish aerator and tubing. 😅 Thanks Ian.

I was able to get the new dji soft fit foam and fabric faceplate for the goggles 2. I live in southeast Texas and tested it in 97 degrees Fahrenheit with a heat index of 107. The humidity was high and had no fogging issue. I think the fabric faceplate breaths better.

hey ian just a quick one the fan duct is to large to fit inside the goggles the duct is considerable larger than the stock one making it clash against the fan duct for people wanting to print this

Never had any fogging issues in the UK with DJI Goggs2/Integra. Just keep them warm/acclimatized by wearing them on your forehead for a few minutes before use!

I've never had an issue since I put on a thicker foam piece. Funny enough it seals way better to my face, yet never fogs. I just leave the fan on full. I am in in Canada and have flown all types of humidity outside. The stock foam is TRASH. made for the flattest face ever or else you will have some intense hot spots.

Would it be possible to decrease the field of view in the goggles 2 with a printed adapter? Or change the optics to make the screen edges sharp and not blurry

Does not fit :( It is about 1mm longer than the original. The dimensions of the screws match, so sizing is not an option

We need more information on repairing fatshark avatars their customer support is totally useless and will leave you on your own when something goes wrong.

Caddx has been great though they responded super quick to my inquiry about the fatshark goggles dying from using a usb c to hdmi cable and were willing to sell me a power supply board for 25$. Hopefully this resolves my issue need to get some time after work to install the new board and see if it works.

I cant find an answer to the avatar vrx ,mine that are finaly on front of hdzz goggles willl not firmware update,there stuck on 29. whatever factory original.the cam vtx updated no probs.i am doing everything properly 5x still no update cant even unlock them with the downloadable .txt files...any help would be awesome ,(forgot 1 big beep,then blank screen then rapid quiet beeping for 8~10 minuts)(changed sd card..now get a louder longer sloweer beep) sry i had to post here and 5 other sites with no help.all vrx vids on youtube are basicly the same and there mainly for goggles although thats pretty much identical.thank you in advance n sry Mads for posting this here!
