Danny, your the man. Daily driver or not it nice to clean up the underside and paint it up. Gives it protection and also the Moser looks great in there with the underside cleaned up. Nice to see you masked up the body mounts as well. Great bunch of people. Great video.
My first comment on this build!!😎 Like I've told Liv a few times, an A-body build is an excellent way to go 'cos the basic platform is so good. Even a radical custom job like yours should be pretty stress-free if you take the time to do it right {which you are}. The Chevelle is going to be 100% bitchin' when it's done, if the work already accomplished is any indication. It ought to wow the crowd if you decide to run Drag Week, or Power Tour. Daniel-san, another way-cool thing about your project is that it loosely ties in with one of my own "bucket list" rides - a 1974 AWD Chevelle wagon. Don't know if it'll ever happen, but my preliminary research has been very interesting, indeed. If you're familiar with Motor Trend's Hot Rod Garage "Crown Hick" build - where they took a 60's-era F100 truck body, and plopped it down on a mid-90's Police-package Crown Victoria frame and drivetrain - my idea is along those lines. A '74 Chevelle wagon has a 116" wheelbase, as does a 2009 Trailblazer SS. Aside from fabricating new body mounts, it's pretty much plug-n-play. I'd even be able to use about 75% of the interior, too!! Again, don't know if it'll ever happen, but I'll be ready if I get the opportunity. KUTGW, my good man. Looking forward to the next chpter!!
looks great, i remember cleaning up the underside with hot soapy water and red scotch brite, then rinse it was a mess though. dont understand why awd. moser upper mounts look taller
FANTASTIC JOB GUYS, DANNY I DO THE SAME THING, CLEAN UP EVERYTHING AND PAINT IT, NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT..PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE... THAT ASS END LOOKS GREAT... CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT VIDEO.. ALL OF YOU, TAKE CARE
Im with you. I dont care for the hydraulic thing either. Even tho my 95 Impala/ B4U is dropped 2 inches. Not a lowrider by any means. I was wondering if I was ever going to see a love spat between Dan & Andrew.. Ha Ha The Moser Rear looks so good in the car and the Speedway gray paint makes it really pop. Thanks for the updates & Regards from Ody Slim
Do you have a roll around table? If so you could add some supports, one on each side, tall enough to support a rear end. You lift the car up, roll the table underneath, lower the car til the rear of end sets on the supports and undo the hardware so the rear end is free of the car. Lift car up, roll the table out from under the car. To install just reverse the process.
Please dont think Im being a dick. I wonder if the front end diff will be able to handle the horsepower. Im shure you have already thought this out but Im just wondering.
We will soon. The original engine didn't follow through 🤥 that put is 6 months behind. Now the new engine builder is supposed to have it to us in a couple of weeks. Trust us are little frustrated
There is already a awd 80s cutlass Rob Dahm has a awd rx7 Some guy in Florida did a awd 240sx We live in a world fake breasts fake butts and gender reassignment surgery A awd converted chevelle wouldn’t be a waste of time
