Good video! This next tip won't apply to an AX8, but for Axe-Fx, it really helps with fuzz drives to go into the NoiseGate and set the incoming impedance to 90, not Auto or 1M defaults -- really helps the fuzz work better with your pickups and clean up when you roll down the volume knob. Awesome video tutorial! I have been struggling to get closer to David Gilmour’s tone on the Time solo. Any advice on that one? I’ve experimented with different clip types but can’t seem to get that singing violin or scratching tires type of sound in that solo. ?
There is my weak spot. I don't know that much about music theory so I am not sure how you would set up scales. I would set the pitch block in the begging of the chain. I might make a video in the future but I don't use the intelligent harmonies that much. I guess for me it all sounds like Iron Maiden guitar solos ;-) But thanks for the tip...
I thought the same. I tried the fuzz when I bought the Axe Fx but I didn't like them. But after trying this I really like them. I hope you find something that you like...
While I am not an owner of this particular unit I am considering it and this may contribute great deal to my decision. How deep can you actually get with Fuzz models, I.E PI, Fuzz face etc?
