The demand for an anemo healer with grouping is insane

Also a long time Ayaka player with extremely high investment. I think what people should understand, is that Genshin's "meta," so to speak, changes quite drastically and quite regularly. It's literally just which types of enemies Hoyoverse decides to put in the abyss, combined with abyss blessings. Yes, it's true that for the most part, the abyss cycles mostly haven't especially favored Ayaka, and that remains true. Yes, Neuvillette currently is incredibly powerful, even being a tick above other DPS characters. No, this is not going to last forever. Ganyu, Hu Tao, Raiden C2, Ayaka herself, Alhaitham, and now Neuvillette. The title of "best DPS character" in Genshin has always been a fickle one, and it honestly amuses me how every single time a new character which is good for a particular abyss theme is released, the entire community loses their mind, claiming "powercreep" and "broken character" and whatnot. The truth is that they're all still very good, very effective, and very viable characters. The only thing that differentiates them, is really just what the abyss content is right now. Small tangent aside, at this point, I think Ayaka is a low-floor, high-ceiling character that's surprisingly tricky to play, and requires very good artifact and team investment for her teams to really shine. Her damage ceiling is a lot higher than people realize, and if you are able to get there, your team will be competitive against most types of abyss content including bosses, even against the current top meta teams. In all hoensty, it''s been somewhat annoying reading things from people who clearly don't play and/or don't really invest into her teams, saying that she's outright terrible against bosses, or people still claming that Shenhe isn't really that good for her, people not understanding how deceptively powerful Shenhe's C1 is, how she's unplayable if every floor isn't freezable, or whatever else. Obviously people make lots of silly assumptions about other teams too without really understanding them, and obviously I'm biased, but I definitely do see a lot of misinformation surrounding her. However, her damage floor is definitely very low with the current abyss content. If you miss your burst, then that's just an immediate reset for the most part, and being able to connect all of your burst ticks effectively against bosses requires careful timing, understanding of boss mechanics, and sufficient ER on everyone for you to be able to burst off cooldown when needed. Furthermore, like you mentioned, her burst needs to be able to deal enough damage to at most need two rotations to kill a boss, since once you start going beyond two rotations, it's just pretty scuffed. On top of all this, you need to funnel very well, meaning running consistent and correct rotations, and all of this adds up to her probably feeling clunky and difficult to play for a lot of people. I can definitely see a lot of mid-investment Ayaka players whiffing several bursts against bosses, and immediately deciding to bench her, and I can't really blame them. Now, these aren't really problems for me, and it won't be problems for anyone that's able to play her teams properly, but it's understandable why someone wouldn't want to bother with all this, and it's why I wouldn't really recommend her for new players anymore who are concerned about the meta. Unfortunately, the current reality is that she simply requires too much investment, both in terms of primogems and artifacts to really shine, and there's a lot of other teams now that can be around her damage ceiling, while requiring less artifact investment, and being more flexible in terms of team composition. Several dendro teams, and Neuvillette teams especially highlight this, as they're both high-floor and high-ceiling, while also being extremely forgiving to play. Like, has anyone ever managed to screw up a hyperbloom team rotation, or have Neuvillette dealing no damage because you missed a CA timing? Of course, if one is willing and able to put in the sufficient level of investment for her, then her best team is still incredibly strong, and will make mincemeat out of most abyss content, outside of anti-cryo enemies. In addition, as stated previously, the state of the abyss can change at any time. Hoyoverse could make Venti the top meta pick in 4.3 if they wanted to. Or summon forth a wave of extreme anti-dendro/hydro enemies, crippling a lot of the new top meta teams. Or keep things as they are for now. The only thing we know is that we don't know anything, outside of the fact that in the long run, the abyss meta will always be shifting and changing, with characters rising and falling with it.

As a day 1 Ayaka haver, speedrunner, and long-time player my advice is that if you're looking for the best of the best then maybe she isn't what you're looking for with how much competition we have in the hypercarry category nowadays, especially with units like Neuvilette who has been getting a lot of hype for being self-sufficient and having a high ceiling, even more so when you vertically invest in him. However, if you like her playstyle and seek to use her in the future, she gets the job done pretty well even in these trying times and still puts out "good speedrunning" times through getting Mistsplitter, Shenhe, as well as her owns and the former's constellations. Those who're trying to roll for Mistsplitter good luck! Just beware that the WP banner doesn't carry over so always prepare for the worst case scenario. Also, if there are people here who aim to speedrun, i suggest prioritizing C1 Shenhe over C2 Ayaka, the former's cons might seem mundane but is deceptively a bigger upgrade than C2. She allows you to restack buffs, lowers the ER of both her and Ayaka, and allows you to be free from Favonius by switching over to higher base attack weapons like Wavebreaker, Spine, or CQ for more damage.

Wriothesley's best team is vape-melt with Furina, Xiangling, and Bennett. Furina is being very useful here since she can buff all the teams damage unlike Kazuha because it's hard to double-swirl cyro and pyro. Shenhe is not good in this team either because her rotation doesn't have much synergy in melt team with Wrio. On the other hand, Nahida works in this team for burn-melt since she can buff EM, but vape-melt has considerably more team DPS because Wrio can melt and Furina can vape due to Xiangling's fast pyro application.

19:50 I actually consider Layla the best 3rd slot in that team. At c6 she gives a high amount of energy to ayaka and while also buffing her basic attack with her c4 while also taking advantage from shenhe because ideally shes used with hp/dmg%/crit (her c6 also gives 40% dmg to all of her hits). Layla can also hold millelith which is Ayaka and Shenhe appreciate. The only thing the team lacks is rotational synergy... you either just do one skill + burst on layla and do 20s or you do two which gives shenhes burst less uptime. Its a bit akward maybe there is a solution for that problem in the future but for now I still think its better than what charlotte has to offer (shes still fine in that slot tho ofc)

Thanks for The Answers! and I'm glad you agree, That "Premium" Team Ayaka Has just synergizes so well, like you said. Its hard to justify swapping someone out for Furina. Furina can join that team and still perform well but yeah its just one of those cases of the Bar being really high for the previous team. That's one of the reasons I was finding it difficult to fit Furina in teams due to that factor with some older teams for a C0 Furina. I was left very confused with her early on lol

kazuha and kokomi are great pulls even when you're not playing ayaka freeze. so you're gonna wanna have them on your acnt anyway. and shenhe is the duct tape to the ayaka problem of fighting bosses.

What are your thoughts on hybrid Rayden mostly for quickbloom setups? Would ER/EM/EM be acceptable or only with the Staff of the Scarlet Sands as a weapon? About artifacts set would Gilded Dreams be a better overall in comparison to Flower of Pradise Lost, would Emblem still be a good alternative for her?

But would getting Shenhe C1 and possibly Weapon be better than getting Ayaka C4 if I have her on C3 already? Got quite lucky on her rerun whike on Shenhe I did not and since Ayaka banner is up now I'm unsure if going for it is the play or just get Shenhe up a bit

Sorry if there is restriction about leaks on this channel (I don't know), but as a curious genshin player, I heard the rumors about cloud retainer, which is going to be an anemo HEALER, may have some GROUPING ability, If this turns out to be true, Ayaka, snehe, furina, cloud retainer, can be the team giving out the most value!? I can't say surely coz we are losing bonus dmg from kazuha but still can have vv shread with retainer with some grouping (better than jean). What are your thoughts about this?

As a smol Ayaka (started Genshin in 3.5 and rerolled 100 accounts to get frosty princess) and than nonlifed EVEYTHING to secure Kokomi and Kazuha.. The smol % increase with a chance of Navia axes is a bit disheartening. Saved enough to pull 3 weapons and get Shenhe after, but on the fence a little now.

Ayaka with finale on MC set for 36%crit - atk goblet Bennet c6 healer on nobless probably Furina c2 - random vapes and big damage buffs Kazuha - grouping and damage buffs Viable? I don't know if it was mentioned or not but ayaka hyperfridge team is a really F2P friendly option. Ayaka, dendro mc, Xingqiu and kuki make a pretty good team. Just put standard gilded artifacts on ayaka (one you'd use for any hyperbloom dps), em deepwood on dendro mc (one that gives you more em and dendro res shred), em em em on kuki and emblem on Xingqiu. It outperforms her F2P freeze team with sucrose Xingqiu rosaria qnd the artifact domain is more resin efficient.

Shenhe C1 feels fantastic and it was nice to see her get a little more flexibility with Wriothesley's release, but cryo as a whole is so weak right now, barely better than geo.

With a C6 Furina, is she a better option for Ayaka's best team replacing Kokomi? She won't need a healer, so the question really relates to Furina's buffs over TTDS.

if i have C0 ayaka, and i dont have shenhe or mistsplitter, will it be better to go for shenhe first and then probably in the next rerun mistsplitter, because i don't have the primo pulls with rn, and also i love shenhe i wanted to have her so much. Shenhe's C1, like Xiao's, doesn't change the # of skill uses you get in repeated rotations. So you pretty much gotta clear chambers in like 25s or less to really take advantage of it, no? I know it's assumed you're vertically anyways and should already have good artifacts and mistsplitter, but it still depends on the chamber and skill. Going off that, is C1 + Calamity really better than C2? I'll admit I've always had a pretty negative opinion of weapons like it and Freedom Sworn as just being "whale bait" at first glance, but I'm genuinely curious as to much of a team DPS gain CC is over Fav according to your own calcs assuming that ER% reqs remain the same.

I just pulled Ayaka, and for new player like me the problem is she really need to be in very high investment, which mean a very good team, especially with kazuha and kokomi, and good substat in every substat rolling in artifacts. So maybe I'll build Navia's team first, after then Ayaka, because Navia is "easier" to build 😭

My advice after getting ayaka just prioritize mistplitter before anything even kazuha I already have c1 shenhe kazuha and my ayaka use summit shaper But the performance isn't great tbh

Very good video. I was really disappointed with Furina NEEDING a healer in the team, because she's basically worthless for Ayaka. I have C6 Charlotte, but I don't think removing Shenhe is a good thing. I'm also deeply disappointed with the way hoyo is going with Xianyun... I was expecting her to be the missing piece for the Furina team. The Rizzly discussion isn't really a discussion lmao, he's not it.

What do you think about Layla as a substitute for Charlotte in mono Cryo? I have C6 Ayaka, and while I do have Charlotte Layla does seem like a comfortable pick as well considering her shield strength and damage potential

Ayaka has that one problem. She needs shenhe and now she also needs furina because furina simply makes everyone cracked. Kok as well. I have none except Ayaka...

Getting a Mitsplitter would be dope, but the thing is I haven't been using her in the late abyss so I don't know if it's even worth the attempt (given how bad the RNGesus on weapon banner can be).

Pyro ayaka also works....well just Ayaka that melts.

I don’t think everything less hardcore then “just pull Neuv” is subjective. There’s definitely some established Genshin meta ideals out there that follow reasonable trends with good units. I don’t think “Nahida hyperbloom is one of the easiest most reliable baby teams” is actually that subjective for example.

The Shenhe section is quite misleading, C1 only helps if you one rotate enemies and calamity is a pretty bad weapon when fav exists

My advice for ayaka pullers been ayaka main since first banner here: Best 4star weapon for dmg is Blackcliff sword(from paimon shop)- near dmg to mist splitter even with no passive just stat stick Amenoma sword(inazuma craftable sword)- gets mire burst but has lower stats than blackcliff Teams to try: Shenha, kokomi, kazuha, ayaka Rosaria, kokomi, kazuha, ayaka Diona, sucrose, mona/barbara, ayaka For bosses you could try: Kazuha, furina, charlotte, ayaka Furina, shenha, jean, ayaka Furina, bennet, shenha, ayaka Artifacts: Blizzard strayer Constellation requirement: C0 still works for me What to take note on using ayaka: Freeze team is good so have low cr then over stack your atk and crit dmg for more dmg If you want to try more dmg ayaka then try melt dmg ayaka but some dmg might be lower and you might meed higher crit rate Good luck on future ayaka mains
