Good numbers👍👍👍. I made 158whp 140 lbs torque on a low comp b20b tuned on chrome. Plm header, s2 pro mani and yonaka exhaust. No vtec but was a blast to drive in a civic.
@@hueyang8202 well I ended up doing it. Went backwards from vtec back to non vtec for the tq and usable power for daily. Rpms 2800-7000. I will be running a fully ported and valve job on a ls P75 head since I can't find the p8r head. I also milled the head .030 to reach 10.2cr. will run ultra street ported polished using 70mm tb matched. Toda style 4-2-1 to keep the mid range 2.5" exhaust with 200 cell hi flow cat but the Apexi ws2 will be 3" outlet. 2.5" all the way to the exhaust and then 3". So this way if I ever want to change my piping I can just switch out. Will be on crower 403 or bc STG2 to keep usable power instead of going crower 404. Looking to stay 7200-7500 redline but tune til it peak power only. Bottom end only rod bolts installed for safety measures. Will tune on e85 goals 180whp but will be happy with 170whp. I hope I can make it I may even do pump 91 and e85 just because I want to have both tunes. I'm also thinking about using a ported b16a2 IM manifold with 65mm for tuning if the ultra is too much and lose too much low mid end tq.
10 more hp over stock.. I wonder how much my stock high comp jdm b20b would make in my auto Integra. I got I/h/e. I wanna get a intake mani and build the head lol I'm hoping for like 200whp atleast with a built head with bolt ons Id be happy with 150whp. You should get a intake, intake mani and better header it'll make like 150whp put a gsr fuel regulator on it and a gsr fuel pump or something
Nope I’d never went more then what I had in mods. Car was meant for road racing and keeping reliability on track HP was the least of my worries. 🤙🏼 but make sure you learn about air flow or intakes and diameter for manifolds and what suits your car. In your case id junk the Auto and go to manual asap
@@Zepolbboy yes! We were very surprised. I shouldn't say bone stock, but stock internals. We ran a 1st gen skunk 2 manifold, header, velocity stack, COP kit. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator. But that's it. The motor was untouched. We also maxed the stock injectors. Haven't gone back for a tune since. Car was parked after that dyno session due lack of time and has been sitting for 2 years now. :(
I had a no limited set but ended up leaving my revs at 6,400rpm or before you hit 7k rpm like 6900rpm very risky past that our super weak heads and rocker arms do not like anything higher them that. Any more and Boom!!!!☠️
Edwin Aquino we talking about stock b20b head and block with just basic bolt ons with pump gas on a dyno jet hitting 180+??? Without squeezing the bottle or force induction being involve sounds too good to be true.
ZepolFilms heLL yeah I’m down for next time. Dude my car is good to go now!😎 I got some much needed issues fixed so I should be at auto cross in March! Can’t wait!!
tim m I’ll be more then happy to show you next time we have a Dyno day I’ll pull Valve covers off minutes before I get put on. They have this Dyno day every year.
@@Zepolbboy not only would stock cams experience valve float before 7600 they also would not make peak horsepower at 7600. That would put your redline at like 8200rpm. 140whp at 6600 is believeable not at 7600
A stock b20 makes peak power at about 6200rpm and redlines under 7k. You arent going to miraculously gain 1500~ rpm from bolt ons and a tune. And i have personally experienced valve float from overrevving a stock b20z to 7k. Like i said not buying it one fucking bit
tim m Can’t lie on paper when it’s written down and I’m not on a tube stock Ecu and it hasn’t been touched everything is stock other this Car was just thrown on Dyno for a power result to see where we are at. ITR headers, straight pipe and trans B20b is completely stock from oil pan to valve cover bolts no need to lie to gain a few more horsepower that’s what was read on the Dyno and all I’m doing and showing the results. I have bumped my timing, and retarded my Distributor but that’s what the reading is my redline could be below 7k rpm I’d have to look at the Dyno sheet to double check but that power is exact. Up to you to believe it or not 🙏🏼
Cris Salas honestly reliability is what I was after all stock my car is just really light. That’s what my car differs from most cars racing. I try to keep everything OEM just get the car as light as possible and my videos and on my Instagram it shows. I’m beating cars with 290+whp and up. Just do maintenance to the car get her running good with all new parts and start from there
ZepolFilms what parts you recommend getting I can’t really tune my car because it a obd2 and I wanna go all motor but idk what parts to get for all motor first time owns a B serious engine
Cris Salas honestly right now I’d start with the basics bolt ons. Headers, Exhaust, Intake filter. I try to keep it as OEM as possible only thing I didn’t do was exhaust since I was road racing and going to the track. And exhaust get an type R exhaust, intake keep your Intake box and just switch the Filter inside, exhaust look into reviews and how you want the car to sound
harobmx100 Don’t know off the top of my head but if you want I’ll be posting a new RU-vid video of me taking all the exhaust stuff on I’ll show more in depth of it 🤙🏼
so this b20b with p8r head if so ouch itr header made for top in.b20b needs 4-2-1 for low-mid dad b16a intake manifold b20z cams and nice tb 68mm tops. Somewhere you build is being choked out
Gabrielle Leiba nope not a p8r head it’s only a B20b head not the b20z nothing else at all no throttle body no other aftermarket help at all. Still on a stock Air box as well still haven’t seen a stock B20b with this dyno number 🤔
Gabrielle Leiba the p8r head is from a low comp b20b block. The thing that makes it slightly higher compression is the combustion chamber in the head. The b20b with the phk pistons that have higher compression than any other b20b has a p75 head (the same as the b18b) I believe it goes as follows. B20b (low comp) 8.8:1 B20b p8r head (mid comp) 9.2:1 B20b phk pistons (high comp) 9.6:1 I’ve been a Honda specialist for over ten years. Happy racing everyone! As a side note it would be cool setup to take a p8r head and slap it on a high comp B20B phk block and make a non vtec engine that slaps.
Humberto Talamantes dude it was a few video ago funny as hell idiot deleted his comments been trying to look for them can’t find it 😔😂😂😂😂 I wish I would screen shotted it 😩💀
