You should do a vortech supercharger setup on it especially since your so tight on space you would have to pretty much mount it like the jhm kit is on the std S4 BHF 4.2 I personally went a different route with my build I swapped in BBD from a c5 s6 its a timing belt in the front 4.2 and comes with forged crank rods and pistons I then doubled up my head gaskets and replaced the sodium Filled exhaust valves with inconel valves and upgrade springs and sourced my own vortech V2 t trim capable of making 950hp and rev to the upper 8k rpms and the s6 engine was direct bolt up to my 0a3 6spd trans I'm hoping to put down upwards of 800hp to the ground on the build
@@projectLSaudiA4 delete the 2nd firewall and relocate the battery to the back of the car, plenty of space there for single turbo and will give a little more room to work on things too
Do you have an ig or anything for your build? Would love to check it out, I have an s6 4.2 swapped b5 avant with an 01e, have a tvs supercharger going in hopefully soon(been backburnered forever while working on remodelling my house and my 57 chevy that Im doing an LSA upgrade in). Converting to 8 rib pulleys for the 4.2 to overspin the blower
@@donaldsullivan6979 nice! I have a forum thread on LS1tech. See build thread here: ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids/1949431-b7-audi-a4-ls4-awd-swap.html#post20356050
@@donaldsullivan6979 I’m looking into that already but there’s not much room between the power steering rack and the back of the engine to fit the up pipes, then same thing with the down pipe-not much room on driver side to fit down pipe larger than ~2.5”... I’ll figure something out eventually.
👍🏼, that’s cool, we have the same car 07 but it’s a stick shift, it’s been broke down a couple years now was going to scrap it but can’t muster up to call a junk yard it’s in nice shape just doesn’t run, I was thinking how could I stuff my 455 olds big block in it, a pipe dream till I’ve come across this vid🤙🏼👍🏼
@@projectLSaudiA4 do you make mounts to sell, moter mount, flywheel, ect. If so I’d definitely be interested and I’m sure many more people would support you, it’s a new thing I’ve never seen but allways envisioned, American muscle in a little foreign car 😎, your a trend setter on this one buddy keep up the awesome work.
@@joecrockett1385 I'm also interested in an adapter. I have a b8 quattro 6 speed manual. Asked before on forums, but was turned down. Not really sure why... I wanted to put it in a 52 Ford.
@@itskarl79 @Joe Crockett I’m working out the bugs, relax guys. I’m engineering this stuff from scratch-there’s a reason no one has done this before. I don’t want to sell anything to anyone unless it’s been worked through and is as close to bolt on as possible. With that being said, I have prototypes of the starter mount, the new flywheel design, and am getting the bell housing adapter reworked within next two weeks. Stay tuned!
@@projectLSaudiA4 I think for you, it has more to do with the status of being first with it, but I could care less about that. I think it's a cool swap you're working on. Sell stuff or don't sell stuff, I'll figure mine out. I've considered doing a 1.9 ALH instead of an LS, no adapter needed.
I’m working on launching a website soon. I have to work on some bugs with the starter design still. Subscribe because I will post a video once website is launched

@@orlanmedina3693 There’s two versions of this basic transaxle design that are of interest, manual and the 8HP55 automatic (from A4, A6 and A8). I’m currently using the manual but TurboLamik makes an aftermarket ECU for the 8HP transmission that I have seen used across multiple platforms that would allow the automatic to work as well. Future video planned.
@@projectLSaudiA4 that'll be sweet. I got a D3 W12 sweet engine but just too much money to make it rin again was involved in a crash. So planning on a 6.0 or 6.2 LS but was thinking on just rear wheel drive but don't know if that rear diff can handle all the power by itself. Because id also have to make a adapter plate for the tranny to the engine. 109k miles on that transmission unknown how reliable those are
