There was nothing better in the NWA in 1985 than Tully Blanchard and his "Perfect 10" Baby Doll! They booked it, and it's in the wrestling history books...Forever! Pure Gold!!

Baby Doll's (FACE turn) slap by Tully was my introduction to pro wrestling (even months before finding WWF). I was surfing channels (turning the old knob) and came across this episode of nwa world wide wrestling. When I found Baby Doll on facebook, I constantly told her face turn was my introduction. LOVE your shoot interview's Hannibal!

No one could light the trailer park up like Tully Blanchard, he was the Heel of all Heels. I watched a lot of 1985-86 shows on RU-vid, Tully, Baby Doll, Dusty and Magnum were great, the arenas were full and they were rocking the house down !

4:42 Tully Kept his pimp hand Strong tbh. But when Dusty slapped her first it was just for her being that heel "Because She Was a Woman" you as a man couldn't touch her. And I anit saying you should do that. But the audience was like "she shouldn't be able to get away with hitting our heroes and not get her comeuppance" and people cheer when she got hers but it wasn't malicious, it's not about beating a woman it was putting a heel in their place. But when Tully slapped her the whole crowd had her back and wanted to have his head.(the whole Psychology of that angle fascinated me as a kid)

Back in the day baby doll was such a nuisance and when Dusty slap her he was a hero but when Tully Blanchard did it he act more like an abusive boyfriend both of them would have gone to jail today you got to give it to baby doll she got paid and was worth it because no other woman would do that kind of role today 🤠 ? # you got to give it to baby doll she stood up like a man and today she is still a beautiful lady 😍 !

I get angry, when I watch this great era of wrestling, thinking how Vince McMahon and Russo, ruined the quality of wrestling. Tully Blanchard, Flair, the Andersons’ were all great, but I think Tully, was the main member that made fans “hate” the Horsemen. Flair, made the fans have that “Love/Hate feeling.

It was Acapulco. In the Summer of 85 Dusty defeated Tully and won Baby Doll for 30 days. During that time she was on Dusty's ranch doing chores. She then took off on a horse. That same week she showed up at the arena in a security uniform and helped Tully beat Magnum TA for the US title. Dusty came on TV and was livid that she took off and ran up his credit card bill by going to Hawaii ! 😂 CLASSIC !

Yes. She was in six man tag team matches vs The Midnight express and Jim Cornette during the Great American Bash in 86. She teamed with Dusty and Magnum. Also teamed with the Rock n Roll express and Road Warriors.
