Genetics are the loaded gun… But your lifestyle pulls the trigger! 🎯 Genetics aren’t everything. Yes of course some people will smoke all their lives and not get cancer but it doesn’t mean that you should start smoking 😂. What I mean is genetics just show that we are all extremely unique and have different propensities for different things. But just because your hair has “hit the wall” genetically doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. Healthy long hair is a sign of good OVERALL health. This is why long full hair is so desired! In our community it’s important to understand… If your hair is constantly brittle & dry, you’ve tried everything under the sun then this may be a bigger issue than hair deep. Your body may be trying to tell you that there is something wrong internally. So… 🔻Look after yourself! 🔻Get your blood drawn, check for deficiencies. 🔻Eat an extremely nutritious diet, treat food as medicine. Ensure your diet is packed with these nutrients essential for hair growth: selenium, iron, omega 6&3, vitamins (B3,D, E, A, B7), zinc, folic acid 🔻Look after your mental health 🔻Stay away from stress 🔻Prioritise sleep!! These things MATTER more than you think. Can I be real with you? Yes products are great and I can tell you about my favourites (omininranaturals.com 😜) but don’t put a bandaid on the issue. Look deeper first, then use great methods & products to maximise growth. 🌱 For more details Grab a copy of “The Ultimate Hair Growth Guide” with the code IWANTGROWTH FREE on ominiranaturals.com ‼️
Great information, thank you. My main problem on that list is sleeping, and honestly, I refuse to take sleeping pills, so most find a solution. Your hair is gorgeous and I'll be happy with just half of your length 😅. Many blessings 🥰
@@SusieQ156genetics play a role in how fast the hair grows, NOT how long the hair grows. That is a scientific fact. But your environment plays an even larger role! Janet said it right.
So so true!! Lack of daily intake of water! I know because I was guilty of that as well! Our hair is like a plant that must be watered both internally and externally!
No matter how you say it genetic still play roles in hair growth, some people have slow growth why some have fast growth but in all how we care for our hair still plays a vital role,
@@AntiHAESthat's max growth. Many aren't getting that much. You ever seen how long some people's locks are vs others? There are some who live absolutely horrible lifestyles. Smoking, drinking, eating only junk, but have gorgeous hair, skin and nails. It's really mostly genetics. But I don't call it bad.
They are going to be mad at this one. Their hair wont grow because their hair is brittle, damaged, dry etc. Everyone's hair may not be knee length but not making it to shoulder length is on YOU.
EXACTLY!!! It would be one thing if people were talking about having floor length hair but shoulder length?? That's you and how you care for your hair. Even if you have fast growing hair, if it's not cared for properly it won't be long . We have no idea how fast or slow someone's hair grows by looking at it at, we simply know it's long. I thought my genetics was why my hair would never be waist length but after learning about Black hair care and trail trial and error my hair has been long since 2010 and I know why my hair never got long before
Certainly lifestyle 💣& them mineral/nutrient deficiencies guaranteed & not securing prevention of avoidance of things that deter sleep interference & especially with stress.
This is not true. Genetics has a lot to do with it. If you come from a family with short hair, yours isn't growing to your knees, I don't care what you do. The only people who say this are women with the genes and long hair in the family. Besides, long hair don't make you and that's a fact.
Most of my family don't have long hair. Including my mom who has alopecia.....her own doing from chemical hair alterations, wigs and weaves. But I do. Mine is similar to Janet's. My hair is thick although hers is probably thicker. So according to your alternative facts, I should be bald. Yet I'm not. But keep blaming genetics though....smh.
God has been telling me to do all sorts of things especially speaking about God on my channel and this has just made me realize how much he wants me to do that but I am afraid but I believe God will take over
No you can actually have poor blood circulation as you get older, you can have fibromyalgia or lupus. Which are just one of the many genetic disorders you can get and it can very easily affect your hair, I seen it multiple times and my family and other people's family. And it can cause baldness or hear breakage to occur more commonly because they hair follicles are weak because they lack proper blood support or their constantly inflamed. And this is something I had to get genetic testing for myself because it was so common in my family. Now that doesn't mean all of you have that but if you do notice something and your hair keeps breaking off no matter what regiments you do no matter what lifestyle changes you make you may need to go to your doctor. I would tell you to find a trusted doctor if you can if you do not have insurance look for the free clinics that are safe and that have black doctors. Because some people genetically they can do a lot of stuff in their hair can maintain a lot of different styles. Certain products that work on the majority of here may not work on yours and that's okay because guess what genetically we may look the same but we might be different. So go to your doctor's if you notice something like that and tell them what's you been happening with your hair and your scalp. because there could be many causes for your loss some of them can be very simple as changing your diet, some of them may require special shampoos and conditioners or even for you to start taking vitamin supplements to help.
Well my mom has alopecia so can I blame it on my genetics. Also my fathers side has baldness too even though I know you get the genes for hair loss from your moms side.
