You talk about Matthew 15, but nothing in that chapter tells us not to follow DIVINE tradition, only that not all Jewish traditions are divine, some are just established customs and it does not defile a man not to follow them. Please don’t use the Bible against those who wrote it and made it what it is. The Apostles and Jesus very clearly established traditions in The Church, Divine traditions that Jesus established through the Apostles. If you’re attacking Jesus’s established Traditions then be specific and I will try and answer anything you ask to the best of my ability. The Catholic Church and all those who follow it, aka the original and true Christians, had only tradition from Jesus through the Apostles and Disciples for over 350 years. Even after the Bible was written it was not accessible for many more years to most. Are you telling me Jesus would not have anything for his followers of his time? The New Testament is The Word of God written by the Apostles. Only later did the Catholic Church take those writings and translate them and all the Old testament writing into Latin around 320 AD. Saint Jerome was commissioned by Pope Damasus I. I ask that you please do your research and to not use the Bible created by the Catholic Church to attack it. I do find these things just petty excuses for them. They say they just criticize the Pope and still respect him is just mental gymnastics though it is very much obvious that they dont like him and that their beliefs are better than his. Pride is pride no matter where you look at it.

Jesus did this *but* he always called them to repent, to do the hard thing. This is the element missing in Pope Francis. He confuses and permits and refuses to call people to do better---instead he uses so many words to say things which lack the power to reform sinners.

Pope Francis says some good things sometimes, but it’s what he does that shows his corruption and lukewarmness.

Pope Liberius may have embraced the Arian heresy. And there was a pope in the Middle Ages who said that souls were only judged on the Last Day. This pope's pronouncements are not ex cathedra statements.

Being only a bad Pope would be an improvement for Francis.

@@mariequ88 Agree with you there. However, the claims of the papacy by your church goes far beyond this for a pope. He is the only vicar of Christ on earth. He is the holy father.

The real question are: is the doctrine right or not? Is the church still one and Catholic? If it's so, the Holly Spirit is doing what is needed.
