Hi, I've just commented on your previous video not realizing that you had reviewed the lasted Bakblade so I decided to post the same comment again so that your video has a second opinion. Hi your previous video tempted me to go and get a Bakblade and I settled on the new three blade updated version. So today it arrived and I shaved my back. A twin mirror would have been nice to see my back and side but I do not have one so did the job in front of the only long mirror in the house which is at the top of the stairs. I decided to use the Bakblade on my dry back and I am happy with the results. A few tips:- 1) do not rush, take your time and use the blade in short strokes without too much pressure. The blades are very sharp so no pressure is required. 2) If you have the odd spot on your back you will slice the top off and see a little blood. Do not worry because after your shower and dry down the spot will have dried. 3) Starting at the top is good. Bit by bit reach down as far as you can doing across your back. Then move to the sides and use left hand for left side and vice versa. 4) Have an old towel handy to clear the cut hair so you can see the places that you have missed. That's it guys, the end of hairy backs. Oh nearly forgot, clear the blade head regularly with the little brush that come with the kit; this stops the head from getting clogged up with cut hair.
Serious question: How many “shaves” can you get out of one set of blades? Buying three blades could get expensive after a while. If I use three blades, how many shaving sessions can I get out of them before replacing?
I just bought mine, came in the mail today. Im getting ready to use it, watched this video to clarify how it works. Im excited to use it. I got the 3 blade but the back has a rubber scrubber on it. I'll let you know my feelings when I'm done.
How was it? I have the original 1.0 BakBlade; used it for over two years now with good results, but now the blade is too dull now. So I can either buy more blades or buy the new model.
I love mine, I am hair asf you wouldn’t tell because I keep myself clean I was going to get laser to remove my back hair and shoulders and arm hair. But this I love it it’s so easy. But if your a lifter bodybuilder like me it’s kinda tricky to get in between sports I wash the handle was longer.
Mate, you should try and review the Mangroomer. I also considered buying the one you used after seeing alphaM’s video. But I ended up with mangroomer a couple. Its electric, you dont need to replace the two beads that follow, it flips out like yours did there AND its got a telescopic handle, which is great for us big guys who are kind of stiff. I fucking love that thing. You couldnt cut yourself if you tried. I got the «Ultimate» for 60 USD from amazon. Some might consider that pricy. For me, the itching the hairs on my back caused was doing my head in, so I would buy it once every six months if I had to. Anyway, I think the cheapest theyve got is around 25-30 USD. i strongly reckommend it. And by the way, I came over it because some seemingly random guy on youtube wanted to review it. Cant remember the channel, but I think the guy had like less then 100 followers. But the company sent it to him for free so he could review it. Maybe you should try, your definately reaching way more people then him

i've been a happy user of the man groomer, but i think i might hafta check the back blade out! and you aint kiddin about big beards & hairy backs either LoL!!
Took me about 45-to 50 minutes to do my whole back(add on cleaning up hair in bathroom 70minutes in total... You feel like you doing a yoga class, as lots of bending and moving(awkward angles at times) to get all your back hair... But it cuts your hair well, and I got 99% of my back hair removed.

Just got the prototype 3 blade one as a gift. It doesn't have the neoprene jacket. Thanks for the video. Now I know how to use it properly since it didn't really come with directions. It did come with 3 extra blades though. You didn't mention that with yours. Mine has a suction cup and some hooks for hanging where your jacket covers up. Can't wait to try it. I'm like Sasquatch compared to you. Older nickname was the Vanilla Gorilla. Now I just need to see if I have the balls(or stupid enough) to make a video of my hairy back being shaved. Maybe with 2 hot girls in bikinis doing the shaving, to distract the viewers eyes.
I really don't understand this product. I bought the 2.0 and the shorter version, the first day I used this it absolutely swallowed up the hair and I've never had a smoother chest and back, in subsequent attempts using it the hair cut worse and worse and now when I pick it up to try again it literally does nothing. I've changed blades, used other blades and it still is useless. It's so hard finding a solution for the back and chest and so far the best solution I've had has been the Remington electric body razor. I will watch this video and try one more time with suggested techniques but it's a major hassle wasting time on this stuff as I don't have a passion for doing body hair removal in my spare time. So far a total waste of money.

Denspion that’s actually a myth. No, it won’t grow back faster and thicker. It appears that way because you’re cutting the hair at the skin and if your hair is dark, you see the “5 o’clock shadow” after effect. It looks thicker. Waxing might be the better alternative to avoid that
I feel like he doesn't like it at all... it doesn't even seem to be shaving good... I have the 1.0 and after watching these reviews I'm sticking with the 1.0 and just going to get new blades. It's simple, non mechanical just a fucking stick and it does its job real fucking well, it didn't need a 2.0 version... let alone with smaller blades, just trying to make more money and going the route of razer blades for your face back in 2005...
I agree 100%. The confidence kit 2.0 was almost $100 bucks and the extra blades cut my back to ribbons. It did come with electric razor and other accouterments. But I should have stuck with the 1.0 I wish I read your comment it's too late now though lol

Just get your wife or girlfriend to use an electric head hair clipper...and if your lady is NOT into hairy/fuzzy backs...she will JUMP at the chance to do this service for you! I do it twice a year...and especially before heading out to the beach. In fact, I do a full body shave...chest...legs...armpits, other spots...(being careful...) and she does my back and shoulders. That is the best method of taking care of 'monkey' business!
