Hello & Welcome to Frau Holle Cottage!
Well, the rain has arrived, and it is just the beginning, so they say. I love rainy days in Southern California because it's a treat. This year they are saying it will be a wet Winter and Spring. I don't mind one bit especially if it also brings SNOW to my house and our mountain.
Days like this get me into the baking mood. How about you? Do you like to bake more when it rains?

Adorable video, you always make breakfast look so delicious and the cake looks wonderful. I see you weren't wearing Gus's robe, you had on a cozy pink one lol. I just told my husband last night that California sure is getting a lot of rain and we saw on the news news mud slides in some areas of California. Your home is very cozy. I noticed the lovely quilt rack in the room that leads to the patio, I love that and your beautiful quilts. Quilts always catch my eye, I am a quilter. Thank you for sharing your world through you channel.

Hi Sharon!! Thanks for tuning in ! Thank you so much for those sweet compliments. Yes- we are really getting a lot of rain and some parts of Southern California are a mess. We are all good here but just up the road about 5 miles in the mountain, they have problems with mudslides etc. It rained ALL day today and more than yesterday. -- Those quilts are ones that my mom made before she passed in 1981. They are my treasures of her. I love quilts too but havent made one since my daughter was a baby.
