Now I'm curious how you put your foot in it and caused a war too. 😂 I just went by instinct and it seems to have come out alright. Next play through I'll see if I can cause the fight instead though I'm wondering how that will affect something else later on. I like that all the companions I've found so far have very distinct personalities and motives, and often they are opposite each other. That keeps things interesting. ME did that to an extent, but Larian has taken it a step further IMO. In ME if you made all the right choices you could get the companions who didn't like your actions to come around and agree with you after all. I'm not far enough in to see how BG3 handles it, but I feel like you can conceivably lose companions due to siding with their opposites. I definitely agree on the inventory. It is a real pain trying to keep up with it. If Larian doesn't fix it, maybe a modder will. I haven't investigated mods yet because I like to play through the whole story before I start modding and changing things so maybe someone already has. I feel like the replayability is somewhat endless just because you can be a completely different character each time. The stories may go pretty much the same, but combat won't because you'll have new skills and abilities each play through, especially if you multiclass. One final note on companions, I have a tendency to not like most companions. Swtor has maybe 2 companions in each story that I can stand. ME trilogy and Andromeda, I prefer all the alien companions to the human ones. lol So far in BG3 I like half of them and the other half I just want to let fight it out to see who wins. But, I'm playing a fairly nice Drow, except when she decides she wants something or she's dealing with an inferior male drow, then all bets are off. Next time I'll play something meant to be nice in a mean way. Or be extra evil. Who knows?
Lots of options for multiple playthroughs for sure. I didn't want to be too specific in the video because of spoilers but I think (I'm not sure) it was because I had a certain party member with me when I first spoke to one of the factions. But like I say - it all happened so fast. I will have to experiment and nail down exactly what the cause was in future playthoughs.
@@napyet That could very well be. I don't remember if I had that particular companion with me or not. I'm thinking I left them at the camp. I'll test it next play through.
the characters really carry the game why the production value in sence is why the game is popular. its like hearing the dialogue and seeing the story progress is the reward after the engaging combat. I think the combat is kinda limited its dumbed down to what it could be
