@@korpakukac yes. Apparently there's a way for any spellcaster to learn the scroll if you talk to shovel but don't take my word for it. Save before you try anything

@@WitchHekate I just give Astarion a few levels in wizard since I give him the book. I think it only fits he gets the familiar with it too. :)

​@@WitchHekate you can even have summoning shovel as an ability, not a spell. First, be a wizard (respec works too). Second, use the scroll and talk to Shovel WITHOUT changing their name, and agree with what they say. Then cross the mirror threshold by giving the correct answers. Once you do so, talk to Shovel again, they would say "hey, spell-shite, call me when the fisting starts" and you'll get Shovel as a permanent ability, which stays with you even when you change classes

for the draconic sorcerer you can tell her you're a dragon and make her do some silly things

Shovel actually lets you learn the scroll permanently on classes other than wizard too. I am not sure how, it's just something I've heard

@@WitchHekate As of patch 6, you just need to talk to her in camp with her summoned with a spellcaster (not sorcerer) and she'll add herself to the common tab. (at least on pc)

@@YukiHiomichan just tried it with a warlock and didn't seem to work, at least I don't see it in my spell list. Edit: yep it's possible to have it on warlock too. It just appeared to me after a long rest.

It doesn't look like the other common scrolls you find. You didn't learn the scroll, did you?

I rarely use scrolls and I'm playing paladin, so I didn't even try using them, I thought it was something for warlock to summon a creature when it died, since the ritual can only be used once.@@WitchHekate

shovel is definitely one of the best characters in game and you also get an achievement for using her scroll. Remember her for your next playthrough

If you know where to get the necromancy of thay book, the scroll is in the same place. If you loot everything like I do you'll find it. Learn the scroll, don't just use it.

Permanent if you learn the spell as a mage Otherwise only once

@blatchie4608 not true. If you talk to shovel enough as an arcane caster he will teach you the spell. You don't have to eat the scroll as a wizard. I have shovel on wyll

@@gandalfthegun7527I think I still have that scroll on my character....well time to use it and learn that spell with my sorcerer.

@@chillax319 It can be a bit finicky to get her to teach the spell. at least it was for me trying to put her on wyll. When she calls you a spellshite you know you got it.

@@gandalfthegun7527Good to know, When I'm spellshite I'm good. Love her way with words. Edit: It was finnicky but I managed to get her to teach my sorc the spell to summon her on will. Neat.
