Continuing the trip along the "Smuggler's Route" from Austria to Italy after a rainy experience at Grossglockner. Along some gravel roads, visiting Socerb cave, before hitting the border with Croatia.
Thank You for stopping so soon with the singing....LOL.....would have missed the rest of this amazing video from your trip if you had continued much longer! I'm watching this 6 days after you posted it, so I hope you've been able to edit and upload episode 3 by now, since it will be difficult to wait on it much longer!! And I AM NOT talking about the singing part....LOL Seriously though, thank you for taking the time and effort to share this trip with us!!!
A bit busy with my real job so it will take a little while before I post the next episode. Can’t promise there won’t be singing but I can add a warning message a few seconds before 😁
Haha when I watched this the first time and when you mentioned Ian it seemed familiar. I've just watched again and it felt even more familiar. Then I remembered our Facebook conversation! And now it has clicked why!
It’s a Garmin Inreach device. It doesn’t do voice, but you can text and send sos over the Iridium sat network. Yes, I like it. I use it as a backup gps device. I also use it to record the tracks. I had a Spot device previously, and I had to use it once as a buddy of mine fell on his bike and broke his leg in a mountain area in Romania where there were no cell coverage. The spot could not receive, only send, so I didn’t know if the sos signal had been received by GEOS. It had (it actually worked as it should), and rescuers where at the scene an hour later. Check out the Moldova 2019 series, where I talk about that incident. thanks for watching 😊
@@BackroadMotorcycleAdventures I had something similar in 2013. Refractive lens exchange. Went to Prague to have it done. Wore glasses for 41 years, but not since. You will probably need a break from riding/driving. Possibly for a few months while it heals.
