I've only watched your videos on RU-vid, never on Facebook, Bobby. I watch on the big screen in 1080 through my home entertainment system; I think your videos rate it. Watching your videos on a cell phone would be like watching the original 'Three Days of the Condor' with the sound turned off. Bobby, I’ve been working as a e-commerce expert/consultant and FB marketing expert for 10 years. The simple answer is DO NOT base a business on YT or FB ad revenue. Consider anything that comes in as an added bonus, whilst building business assets that you actually own and control yourself. As for your current FB issue, there’s not a huge range of options to be honest. Unless the system specifically tells you you can’t submit another appeal, I’d be banging them in once a week. An appeal shouldn’t take more than a few days max. Just had a client put in an appeal a few days ago, response received this morning. Happy to offer more detailed guidance if you’re interested.

Bobby... If your not aware, any data your uploading to FB or any modern platform with be scrapping the metadata attached to those files. I believe your cameras/phones should have the option to turn off the coordinates, location, etc. This won't help with your current FB issues, but turning off any metadata tracking should give you more control over your data. In addition, any text captured in your videos/images, as well as, your voice are more than likely being extremely analyzed since you were flagged for demonetization. Good Luck 🙂
Just a thought: Bobby, there seem to be thousands of content creators who are in your position. Do some research to see if any are working toward filing a class action lawsuit against Facebook for Facebook's fraud. Sue the bastards!!!!!

It's going to get worse. This is about squeezing out the independent creators in favor of the big corporate creators. I'm convinced that this is conspiracy between the likes of Comcast, Paramount, HBO, ect...and the social media companies. These independent creators are becoming too popular, and Hollywood is threatened by it. I would love to know how much money the boards of these Hollywood companies are paying directly to the bank accounts of these high ranking members of social media companies. You just know there's a bunch of corporate graft going on at this stage, there's no other sensible explanation.
Bobby, I like your videos and I realize FB is a revenue stream for you, but if FB is still making money off of your creations (videos), but have demonetized you thereby rendering you NOT earning off of your OWN creations, then I'd pull every last video from their platform; even if temporary, so at least they can't make money off of you while they purposefully pull this crap. Last year I ran into a family from California while exploring an Ice cave in Utah. The wife was a coder at FB and they have these people always looking to make changes. I run some FB groups and every time a change is made it breaks the group. In your case I'll bet somebody high up decided they needed to demonitize some channels to improve the bottom line. In fact, I am surprised they still have that feature.
I had a successful tiny house design blog and relied on FB for fans. I had over 300K followers. One day they began changing how things worked, and my business never recovered. Good thing I kept my day job. Facebook is evil. Don't do business with them. Unfortunately, we have to rely on some of them for traffic... for example, you must rely on RU-vid and just hope they never turn off the spigot.
Love your content Bobby. Re-direct the effort you are spending on FB to other under-utilized channels. You can make up the revenue somewhere else without stress and hassle.
Glad you came to this realization, even if they resolve your cases, the amount of censorship they apply to content is absurd/ridiculous so maybe just walk away and just use FB to route traffic and business to other more friendly platforms (thumbnail-link)!
Hey Bobby, This is nothing short of horrendous. At 85 and having been a small businessman for my entire life, It is inconceivable that any business shut down all communication with customers, vendors or the public. One of my favorite practices for making an absolute contract with a large company is to due some homework and find out the names of the president, and chairman of the board and their addresses.Then send each one a letter stating my case either to praise or critisze.If I really want to get their full undevided attention, send the lettert by certified mail, with return receipt. I have always gotten a return receipt and a response to my letters. I love to do this as a way to bring the great, over the top service by the employee of a company that I am doin or have done business with to top managements attention for accolades to be passed out to that employee. If you try this, please let your viewing world know so they to can have a voice at the presidents office and the chairman of the boards office.
Hi Bobby, I always watch on RU-vid on my Smart tv when at home and have done for several years. For FB to continue showing your material whilst not paying you on the basis of an over-sensitive algorithm should be classed as copyright theft! Stop posting to Facebook, other than to direct users to RU-vid!

Along with the other suggestions viewers have made, perhaps the most common suggestion for those who have a stock portfolio is to diversify. In your case diversifying means using other media platforms to prevent losing money from poor performing income streams. The expense of maintaining the income has exceeded the benefits. I wouldn’t stay with FB any longer than it takes to meet or exceed your revenue you were receiving in the past. There’s always a chance another outlet will outperform idiot book with less maintenance work to keep it going. There’s also the added benefit of less stress about when the next demonetization will occur. The sooner you abandon their hamster wheel the more satisfying it will be that you were smart enough to get off the sinking ship. In the meantime take comfort that there’s others that will support you while making a change; not to mention the babe onboard😉. Safe and peaceful travels Bobby.
Write to your Congressman, file a lawsuit against Facebook claiming significant damages, and buy stock in Facebook so you can complain as a stockholder. There are probably enough other channels in your situation to make a class action out of it. Good luck!

The algorithm might be detecting the IP address you use to upload your videos, and determining that you are in a foreign country. You might want to invest in a VPN service which tunnels you through the US in order to mitigate this sort of headache.
It is sad that there are platforms that make a lot of money from content made by others that are even worse than RU-vid when it comes to bans, demonetization and communication. To be honest, no option to communicate and a very bad review system doesn't sound unfamiliar for Facebook. A platform build around communicating with others that doesn't want to communicate with their content creators and users.

Bobby , I grew up in the bahamas and was there at the time of the crash, first the plane was loaned to a crazy american pilot trying to sell it to carlos lehder, he flew it from florida to show it beacause it had a great payload, while the show and tell was going on, they all got tuned in and the gringo started to show the plane doing , touch and goes! well since he was also tuned in he touched down short of the runway! they all got out of the plane since it was low tied laughing and carrying on and just swam to shore, no drugs ever flew in this plane ever! I feel your pain. Facebook has NO Customer Service. Its an automated mess. A hacker stole my account, ran up an ad bill and got me locked out. Then they disabled me and I had no redress because the acct was locked. Ten years of material just gone. No one at Facebook to talk to. It’s no wonder people just sue them.

I believe FB has me in a foreign country too. I keep getting suggestions for new contacts or follow them. I have been booted off twice. I even said I don't want these posts. I have F off to FB. I hate FB right now too.
I think this is a lesson for those that want to be social influencers to remember that they are the boss and they can start pause and stop u whenever they feel like look at other ways for an income. Have you tried going about it the other way? What I mean by that is…. do they have a link that you can click on to where u want to pay them money for them to play “your ads”? Because surely they have someone to talk to that is willing to take your money for “your ads” even though u don’t want to do that but maybe that will at least get you somewhere where you can talk to someone either on the phone or email or whatever. Sorry you are having troubles. I never had any use for facebook and have not signed up for it. I am happy to watch the beautiful women you have on The Doodles and the occasional fun antics they pursue. Even Laura's channel has been unusually quiet for a long time. Maybe RU-vid has adopted the mentality of Lily Tomlin;s phone company? (We're the phone company and we don't have to care.)

Facebook failing to have a department to receive communications from a content provider is a serious problem. I'll contact my Congresswoman's office to relate your story. My sense is that you are one of many with the same problem - inability to talk with a human for a resolution of a serious problem. On balance, FB adds little to no value to the world. I remember early on someone saying that when the service is free, you're the product. And it's for that reason I never downloaded their software. Your stuff on YT is great and I watch it regularly.
The error is always on their shitty algorithm. Company I work for is an agency and we spend about $1mil a month advertising for our clients. Our ads and accounts get disabled all the time because their algorithm is a pos, everything always ends up getting approved and turned back on but it's super annoying and time prohibitive.
I LOATHE Facebook. I do not have or want a FB account but I do occasionally list things on Marketplace through my wife's account. The FB environment is a hot mess, I dread dealing with it and often find myself swearing out loud at the computer when I do. If you can craft your business model to not include FB then you will be much further ahead for it. As another data point...I watch your videos only on RU-vid. Keep up the good work.
I probably open up Fakebook once a month and the only real reason I do that is looking for something on marketplace. Personally I would encourage everyone to remove content. I went back a couple years removing things. When I say that they are #1, you can imagine what finger I'm holding up.
